BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has aplogised for another service outage that hit some customers today, but said that it has now resolved the issues. The Canadian firm said in a statement that "service issues" had affected BlackBerry customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Embarrassingly, the outage came on the day that Apple announced its new iPhone 5. "Our apologies to any customers impacted by the BlackBerry service issue today. We can confirm that services have been restored and are now operating normally," said Rim. BlackBerry UK managing director Rob Orr later reiterated that the problems had been resolved. Over the nine years the Fox series "24" ran, Bauer was known to outright torture his suspects to prevent the world from blowing up on numerous occasions, but a film based on the series has had a torturous journey of its own, including a script by Billy Ray which was rejected and executive producer Howard Gordon walked off the project.
Recently, Sutherland told The View a revamped version of the film under explosively-inclined producer/director Tony Scott ("Top Gun," "Unstoppable") would be coming our way in 2012, and now producer Brian Grazer has confirmed the date.
