Andrew Garfield is mixing work, play, and charity during his visit down under this week! The Amazing Spider-Man star hit the waves on Bondi Beach in Australia on Thursday to lend his time to Hunter Connect, an Australia-based nonprofit organization that supports families and children with autism. Andrew joined professional surfer Joel Parkinson for the Surfers For Autism program and helped teach a group of young kids how to ride the waves. The adorable photos show Andrew paddling with a little boy, cheering him on from the water, and autographing a surfboard while posing for pictures. Hunter Connect shared one of the snaps on its Facebook page, saying, "Just had an amazing morning with the Amazing Spider-Man Andrew Garfield & Joel Parkinson. Both were incredibly understanding and genuine with our Hunter Connect children whilst catching some waves." See Andrew's sweet day of surfing when you keep reading. View Slideshow ›...

This year's London Surf Film Festival showcases the sport in all its extremes, from big waves and beach dudes to riders braving the Arctic winter – but where are the women surfers?
Surf films tend to fall into two camps: either pro riders surfing the world's biggest waves to a banging soundtrack – all rippling muscles and towering walls of aquamarine water, or whimsical journeys that look and feel more like music videos – focused less on skill and strength and more on the lifestyle with a heady, hippy vibe heavy on salty sexiness.
But the effect of both types of film is similar – and powerful: instant lifestyle envy. After watching some of the trailers for the London Surf Film Festival, I was wondering whether 41 was too old to become a surf bum – despite only ever sitting on a board once.
But there is more to the festival than exotic beaches and hot dudes in wetsuits.

My Kitchen Rules' Pete Evans has gone public with his relationship with Nicky Watson. The 39-year-old Australian celebrity chef, who is a judge on the reality television show alongside Manu Feildel, is believed to have slimmed down since he started dating New Zealand glamour model Watson. According to The Daily Telegraph, the new couple were spotted together with pro surfer Joel Parkinson on Manly Beach earlier this week, with Evans showing off a slimmer, more toned physique. Evans split from skier Astrid Edlinger last year. The pair were together for 11 years, during which time they had two children Chilli and Indi. After their separation, Edlinger claimed that Evans's rising profile altered him, (more)...
