- Charles Alan Jones was born in Terrell, Texas and grew up in the neighboring town of Wills Point, Texas for the first 18 years of his life. After receiving a football and baseball scholarship from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, he attended the school as a two sport athlete for a year but was dissatisfied.
Shortly after, he joined the United States Air Force in which he served for 8 years before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of acting and filmmaking.
Graduated From Santa Monica College with a degree in film studies.
Attended the 2008 Cannes Film Festival with his film,Barry's Last Chance (2007), as a participant in the Short Film Corner.
Won the Audience Choice Award at the Cannes 24 Hour Film Challenge with the mockumentary film, Grand Cheveux (Big Hair).
