Francesca Nina O'Keefe Writer-Producer-Actor was born Istanbul
(Turkey). She is one of the co-founders of Perfect Pictures Productions
based in Istanbul-Turkey and Los Angeles-California.
She had spent her early years of life in Istanbul-Turkey. As a child, She discovered the awe acting in the early age performing for her parents; improve showsweekly for her parents. After her parents divorce, her performing became an escape for her.
She was accepted prominent music school atthe age of 12. And After her Aunts traumatic death she decided to come to America, one NewYear's eve with two suitcases full of dreams and 50 US dollars in her pocket.
Adjusting her life and priorities in Americastayed true to her Turkish roots and had a dream of becoming an international Actress. She went back to studiying Acting and had achieved an opportunity to act in shows in Los Angeles and Off-Broadwayand movies.
She appeared in the 2001 Los Angeles production of "Intimidating Strangers ".
In 2004 She appeared in the Los Angeles andoff-Broadway production of "Necropolis".
Her passion for acting and her desire to reach a much larger audience led her to her movie roles and film making. She was featured;
In 2005 "Tercih" Directed by Harun Altunbas.
In 2006 "Ankara Expresi" Directed by Mustafa Yasar. And She donated her first paycheck to the Autistic Kids Association in Turkey.
In 2006 German Turkish production of, ?"Duello" Directed by Hakan Haslaman.
In 2007 She was co-written the short movie and directed and featured "How Could I forget you?" which led her entering to the Cannes film Festival.
Her music career also received a boost during this time with the release of her single "Now I Know" It earned place on the charts Number16.
Her Videos aired on MTV, Dream TV and Number One TV.
Recently she completed her last screen play of "Pes Etme" also known as" Don't Give Up".
In her spare time she loves writing poetry, sports and traveling. Herdedication to her work in the persuit of her dreams and her personal story, set a compelling example to the next generation of Turkish artists. She is a woman who has passion for Art and a story telling.
She resides in Los Angeles, Istanbul.
Francesca also works with charity groups such as: Autistic Kids Turkey. (APLA) AIDS prevention, Advocacy & Services USA.
