- I am a composer and bassist from Boston, MA, and write instrumental music that is an eclectic blend of strings, guitars, and electronic sounds.
I got a lot of experience selecting the right music to fit a story while working as a video editor on television shows for Animal Planet, the Travel Channel, and HGTV. After much time spent searching music libraries for the perfect track to complement these stories, I realized that I wanted to combine the worlds of music and media and pursue creating my own original soundtracks.
As a bass guitarist I have played in the Boston and NYC scene, and toured the U.S. and Canada with the pop/rock band Wheat (Columbia Records) while opening for indie-rock icon Liz Phair. Memorable shows include The Metro in Chicago, the House of Blues in Anaheim, and St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit.
Collaboration in a creative environment makes the project better, and I've done a lot of that working in the edit suite with producers, and playing in bands. I love exploring new ideas and learning, and have completed a BM in music performance from Umass Lowell, and a MA in media arts from Emerson College.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Walter Blazewicz
