Professional Filmmaker. Producer, director, screenwriter and editor.
Born in Santiago, Chile in 1973. Degree in Audiovisual Communication at
the School of Communication Studies and Education in 1998. He has
worked in the realization of audiovisual products for film, video,
television, multimedia and Internet and in areas like fiction, science
documentaries, astronomy, technology, education, environment,
eco-tourism and conservation. He has taught at the mounting area and
post-production in the career of Communication Studies at Duoc UC
(Catolic University of Chile), as well as short workshops on "La Toma"
and documentary workshops at the Faculty of Sciences of the University
of Chile, Playa Ancha. Moreover, in areas of special effects and
animation, having knowledge for animatronic, combined with VFX. Partner
and legal representative of the Maxilarfilms. Fiction Awarded with two
National Audiovisual Development Funds (1999-2010) and a Pudu, prize in
Valdivia Film Festival (2000). His most notable films are "Sobre mi
sangre" and "Natacha y el cuarto espanto". In the documentary, as an
editor, his latest work "The Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race" winner
"Killanery Ireland Adventure Film Award" and an official selection at
the Colorado Film Festival Breckenride U.S. and New Zealand Mountain
Film Festival. For the next year 2012, he preparing a film launch in
October "Natacha in the land of the Trasgo" and the Film "The Gravity
of the Pugilist".
