World-renowned remix artist Mike Relm has crafted a cool Baby Driver remix video based on Edgar Wright's upcoming car chase thriller. As you probably know by now, the use of music is extremely important in the movie, so this is very much in line with the film's tone and sounds like something Baby — a frequent remixer himself — might have made.
Baby Driver cruises into theaters on July 28, 2017.

Blockbuster summer has been a fairly disappointing season thus far. For my money, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been the only movie that has truly delivered what a summer blockbuster is. Thankfully, the season is only half over, and we’ve got plenty of great movies coming down the pipeline, one of which will […]

Guns are awesome, hot girls are awesome, and the two combined together nearly defies the laws of all things awesome. That’s why Everly, starring one of the hottest gals in Hollywood, Salma Hayek, as a sexy defender of the second amendment, looks like a must-see!
One week before the theatrical release of director Joe Lynch’s genre-bending film Everly, starring Salma Hayek (Frida, Desperado), a new “mash up” trailer created by world-renowned DJ and filmmaker Mike Relm has been released. This remix of the Vega, Baby! produced and Radius/TWC distributed action thriller perfectly captures the “gonzo” nature of the film. Relm’s masterful artistry transforms the dynamic soundscape in Everly from visual and audio samples into a darkly energetic sensory experience.
The Mike Relm Remix can be seen here:

Mike Relm is back with a new movie musical remix, and this time he has taken on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy! Like the rest of the video remixes he has done, it combines many pieces of sound, dialogue, and video images from the film to create this entertaining musical experience. Director James Gunn liked it so much that he shared it on his social network feeds. Here's a short note from Relm:
"Guardians of the Galaxy. A great movie with a ridiculous soundtrack. As soon as I saw this film, I wanted to get my paws on it for a remix. And yes, I am fully aware that Rush's 'Tom Sawyer' was not in the film. I just really like that song."...

On May 28th, a collection of YouTube's brightest musicians will join John Legend for a live concert. The event, titled YouTube Onstage Live, will go down at 7:30 Pm Est from DC's Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The venue's YouTube channel has posted a live stream of the event, which has been embedded below. Legend will take the stage alongside five musical groups with big followings on YouTube: Lindsey Stirling, Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox, Les Twins, DJ Mike Relm, and Playing for Change (which has been added to the lineup since we first heard about the event). Four of YouTube's most creative musical acts are headed to DC to show off their chops. Lindsey Stirling, Les Twins, Scott Bradlee, and Mike Relm will perform at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on May 28th as part of a free event called "YouTube OnStage Live from the Kennedy Center." The participating musicians will take the stage alongside John Legend, who previously collaborated with Sterling for a cover of his song "All of Me". That video has drawn more 20 million views to date. Beyond Legend, the four artists who will perform during the show represent a diverse cross-section of the YouTube music community. Sterling, the most well-known of the four, recently released her second album of "dubstep violin" music. Les Twins is a French duo perhaps best known on YouTube for a particular video that went viral to the tune of 22 million views. Bradlee, who calls his channel a "Postmodern Jukebox,...

Alright, this week has been a little bit of a horror awesomeness overload, which started with me getting to interview Don Mancini, Brad Dourif, Alex Vincent, Fiona Dourif, and Danielle Bisutti, who were promoting their now released Child’s Play sequel, Curse of Chucky. I mean, I was sitting face to face with the man (well, voice) who haunted my nightmares as a young boy – Ok, young adult – Ok, fine, Chucky totally f#cked up my adult life too. Whatever, don’t judge me, Chucky is scary, end of story, but that wouldn’t be possible without such a devoted fan base.
While you’ll get all my interviews shortly, right now I’m caught up in the flurry of Comic Con, and starting my day off was the Curse Of Chucky panel featuring all those names, plus franchise favorite Jennifer Tilly. Please note, there are spoilers for anyone who...

This has been a big week for Chucky fans! Earlier this week, we got not only a Blu-Ray box set collecting all of the 'Child's Play' films, but a brand new 'Child's Play' sequel 'Curse Of Chucky' written & directed by Don Mancini. And so, we've just been given this bizarre 25 years of Chucky tribute video. I say bizarre because it's a "megamix" by Mike Relm. You'll either find this "mix" terribly annoying, or maybe you'll find it charming and awesome. I fall somewhere in the middle as I've always found anything Chucky related irresistible. Have a peek below!
Also, can't get enough Chucky? Read our review of 'Curse Of Chucky' by Scott Weinberg, our interviews with series creator Don Mancini, as well as Ed Gale, the man in the Chucky suit. John Squires also whipped up this great piece showcasing the best Chucky toys on the market!

During Edgar Wright's panel for The World's End at Comic-Con last month, the director showed off a really cool video created by Mike Relm called The Cornetto Megamix, and it features the audio and video from the three films that Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost have worked on together over the years: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End (collectively dubbed the "Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy"). Wright posted the video on his blog and said that it "might be my favourite re-edit of any of my work."

Searching around online you can find an impressive number of fan tribute videos to Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost, but now professional electronic music producer/director Mike Relm has entered the game and created a Cornetto Trilogy Remix that is guaranteed to melt your face off. What makes this video such an impressive piece of work is the fact that it.s entirely assembled using nothing but snippets and soundbites from all three movies in the comedy trilogy. One can only imagine the number of man-hours and ridiculous effort that went into searching for the perfect moments in all three movies to create the perfect mixtape (not to mention the fact that it seems as though Relm was only working from The World.s End footage that has been featured in the various trailers and clips that have been released in the weeks and months leading to the...

In addition to a highly entertaining panel for The World's End, the conclusion to Edgar Wright's stellar Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, some Comic-Con attendees were treated to an advanced screening of the film (read my review right here). But for those who didn't get to see the film, there was still a cool bit of video to behold. Mike Relm put together The Cornetto Megamix using audio and video from Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End (without spoiling the movie), to create an electronic song and music video from the films. The director says it "might be my favourite re-edit of any of my work." Watch! Chicago – With so many laughless sitcoms premiering this season on ABC, it’s tempting to overpraise a show that actually manages to be funny. “Happy Endings” has already received a good deal of praise from Hollywood Chicago for its top-notch ensemble and vibrantly witty banter, though it’s not quite in the same league as the shows it wishes to emulate, particularly “Friends” and “Arrested Development.”
In isolated twenty-minute doses, the show is a hoot, but if viewers attempt to watch an entire disc of this frenzied farce, they’ll be left feeling more numbed than amused. The pacing of each scene is so fast that audiences have little time to register whether a joke was indeed genuinely funny or just plain lame. There are so many verbal gags vying to be the funniest that at times the Chicago-set series threatens to devolve into a punchline competition.
DVD Rating: 3.5/5.0
