As the nation’s biggest force for animal protection, the Hsus has been able to harness the collective power of our expertise, influence, networks and partnerships to mitigate new threats to animals as a result of Covid-19. While the organization has mobilized to prevent new suffering, the Hsus has also remained laser focused on longstanding causes of animal suffering. The gala will benefit animal rescue, farm animal protection and ending puppy mills and dog meat farms.

After three sold out shows by international superstar Rob Thomas, Vnue announced today that it raised more than $20,000 for Sidewalk Angels Foundation from its instant live recordings at the Borgata Casino Music Box in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
This was the eighth consecutive year that Thomas held the Music Box shows fully benefiting Sidewalk Angels, and the second year in a row that Vnue has helped raise money with its unique line of “instant live” recorded products.
The recordings of each show were made available immediately after they finished via Vnue’s set.fm and exclusive licensee DiscLive.
These shows, featuring Rob and his full band, and which Thomas has described as “singer-songwriter storyteller events,” featured him performing a range of material from both Matchbox Twenty and his critically-acclaimed solo albums, as well as other material.

Rachel Bilson headed out of her hotel in NYC before stopping by the Max Azria Fashion Week show last night. While it's interesting that she was wearing one blue glove during the day, there was no visible bling to match the news that she's engaged to Hayden Christensen. She supposedly revealed the news to a fellow passenger on her flight into the Big Apple where she was spotted wearing a ring and it's just been confirmed - congrats to the happy couple! To see lots more of Rachel and others at the show, including Rob Thomas, just read more.
