Spoiler Alert!Spoilers for The Acolyte Episode 3, Destiny
The Acolyte continues to receive hate from the Og Star Wars fandom, who has a major problem with the latest episode. The third episode of the new Disney+ show delves into the origin story of the main characters, Osha & Mae, both played by Amandla Stenberg. Some argue that their birth made Anakin Skywalker’s ‘The Chosen One’ status less special in the Star Wars lore.

The much-awaited Star Wars prequel series The Acolyte is finally out and has received a divisive response. While some appreciate the choices the show makes as well as its premise, many are criticizing it as everything that is wrong with what Disney did with the franchise. From shoddy dialogue to lore inconsistencies, the show seems to be getting worse with every new episode.
Fans noticed one more inconsistency in The Acolyte, which features Jedis after a long time in the franchise. In the latest episode, it is revealed that Jedi only use their weapons if they know for sure that they are going to kill. However, fans noted that the rest of the Star Wars films do not subscribe to this ideology, making it a huge plothole.
