A well-known British jazz group of the early 1960s; its leader, Dave (or David) Lee was the resident musical director of the popular BBC satire show "That Was The Week That Was" and regularly contributed satirical songs to the series, usually sung by Millicent Martin. He also wrote the music for a famous horror film, "The Masque Of The Red Death" (1964).
