Ian Mansfield Rothkerch - Founder and President of Alucard Films, Inc.
At age 15, Ian wrote the copyrighted novel, "Triple Entendre".
A Phi Beta Kappa Summa Cum Laude graduate of Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, Ian was a co-founder of Colgate's on-campus film production company. While at Colgate he wrote two full-length films; "Tuition Impossible" (a parody) and "The Gemini Experiment" (satiric suspense).
Ian was a contributing entertainment journalist for Salon.com, the contemporary internet magazine, and a masthead contributing writer for the French magazine, L'Ecran Fantastique. In addition, Ian created the "Funny Business" column for Comedy Scene magazine.
A "Batman" aficionado and collector, Ian wrote a spec screenplay "Batman: The Joker's Revenge", a project that met with worldwide acclaim.
Ian continued developing and writing film and television projects and soon formed a writing and producing partnership with Justin Stanley, under the banner of Alucard Films, Inc.
In 1999, Ian began his quest toward the development and ultimate production of Andrew Taylor's trilogy of books, "The Roth Trilogy". Through Ian's vision and dedication, the project has become a reality, and the ITV miniseries "Fallen Angel" will be broadcast in Spring 2007.
