Samoa Joe and several other big name Nxt stars are not earmarked for the main WWE Raw roster, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting.
Joe, James Storm, and Asuka, are only in Nxt to add experience levels and some name value to the third touring brand. The idea is for them to help teach guys, hence why Joe worked with Baron Corbin so much and why Asuka is working with Dana Brooke. As it happens, Brooke is one of the Nxt workers who is earmarked for the main roster.
That news will likely disappoint some fans. You’ve got these really talented wrestlers who are limited to Nxt, then you’ve got the less talented ones who are being readied for Raw. Although, to be fair to Dana Brooke, she is improving very quickly. She does have potential if she can continue to improve.
But never seeing Samoa Joe...

Wrestling star Robbie E -- a former contestant on "The Amazing Race" -- is Engaged ... to the very same woman he divorced back in 2013 ... TMZ Sports has learned. Here's the deal ... Robbie originally married fitness pro Tara Sue back in 2011, after dating for 7 years. But their relationship fizzled and they split in 2013. Robbie dated another woman, fellow Tna Wrestling star Brooke Tessmacher, and the two appeared on 'Race' together last year ... but They broke up before the end of production.

Hey! Look at that! "The Amazing Race" is, indeed, capable of making at least minor corrections. Last season's penultimate episode was, if you'll recall, a bit of a logical mess. Brooke & Robbie, who I've mostly forgotten, finished first, but got nothing for their trouble, because it was a "Keep On Racing..." Leg. Amy & Maya finished last and not only were they not eliminated and not only did they not face a Speed-Bump in the next Leg because it was a "Keep On Racing..." Leg rather than a Non-Elimination Leg, but they went on to win, becoming one of the two or three least dominant "Amazing Race" winners ever. It was stupid. Because the last Leg always begins with travel back to the United States and is usually an Equalizer, Brooke & Robbie didn't win a prize as the winners of the Leg, didn't get a time advantage and basically did a Leg of activities for nothing,...

In the interest of time, I skipped out on the "Amazing Race" exit interview circuit, a decision I often regretted. I'd have loved to ask Lisa & Michelle about shoving and hypocrisy, or talk to Shelley & Nici about how their existing relationship hurt them out there or to discuss whether Kym & Alli felt annoyed at a surfing task being their demise. I was more than happy, though, to rejoin the circuit to talk to the "Amazing Race" finale, especially when the victors turned out to be Food Scientists Amy & Maya, a pair I grew to really root for during the Race. No, Maya & Amy weren't the strongest team. In fact, they made it to the end without winning any of the first 11 Legs and only a "Keep on Racing..." Leg in Manila kept them around. But even if they seemed physically unlikely -- especially with a prior injury forcing Amy to...

Brooke and Robbie's dominance on The Amazing Race was brief and their downfall, steep. After winning the penultimate leg, only to learn that they had to continue straight into the first four-team finale, the wrestlers were eliminated in fourth place midway through the final leg. Adding insult to injury: They were cut right before doing a Roadblock, and their frenemies Amy and Maya won. "It was pretty hard to watch. We didn't expect it to play out that way," Brooke tells TVGuide.com. "We made it way farther than we could've ever imagined. We're very proud of ourselves. I think we played the game the way we wanted to." Yes, that means reneging on U-Turn deals. See why they did that and if they really had it out for Amy and Maya.

There are several things that have to be discussed in this recap of Friday (December 19) night's "Amazing Race" finale, but I want to get this out of the way: I don't think Brooke was wrong to be pissed off to see The Candy Girls arrive at the Manila airport after the last Leg and I don't think Adam was wrong to say that he was frustrated. When I talked to Phil Keoghan about the rash of episodes in which teams didn't go home this season -- Four out of 11 episodes -- he said that people were universally excited by the ending of the last Leg, because it was something they had never seen before. True. What they hadn't seen before was a team get spared from elimination at the end of what was, for all intents and purposes, a Leg despite finishing last, only to be immediately rewarded with an Equalizer at the airport,...

Tonight's finale episode, kicked off with the teams, learning that it was time to catch a flight to good ole Los Angeles,CA to get the first clue for this leg of the race. Once they got there, they had to hop in a Ford Explorer Sport and retrieve a manila envelope. Then take it to the Film L.A. clerk's office to get their next clue, which was a film permit. Once they got it, they had to head on over to the Southwest Marine Warehouse and give them the film permit so they could participate in the Road Block challenge. In the challenge, they had to successfully film a live action stunt to get their next clue. After finishing that up, the teams were directed to hit up a boating area to do a search and rescue training exercise challenge with the Coast Guard in order to get their next clue.

Victory is sweet for the champions of The Amazing Race season 25: food scientists Amy DeJong and Maya Warren.
The pair, whose team was nicknamed the "Sweet Scientists" conquered the final leg of the reality show's latest season, flying from the Philippines to Los Angeles and ending up on the winners’ platform.

On The Amazing Race, for the first time ever, four teams will head into the final leg. The scientists, Maya and Amy, were the final team to reach the mat, and were floored when Phil told them that they were still in the competition.
That wasn't Phil's only surprise. The teams were still racing! They received their next clue, which was their final destination (Los Angeles) and a mystery envelope that they are not allowed to open until instructed to do so. So who will win the one million dollar cash prize and The Amazing Race: married dentists Misti and Jim, dating wrestlers Brooke and Robbie, scientists Amy and Maya or newlywed surfers Bethany and Adam? Let's find out!

"The Amazing Race" concludes its 25th installment on Friday (December 19) night with its first four-team finale, pitting Wrestlers Brooke & Robbie, Food Scientists Amy & Maya, Dentists Jim & Misti and Surfers Bethany & Adam. The field is extra packed because in last week's episode, Amy & Maya reached the Pit Stop in last, only to be told that it was a "Keep on racing..." Leg, which isn't the same as a Non-Elimination Leg, because we already had three of those this season, making four out of 11 weeks in which the "Amazing Race" episode ended without a team heading home. Earlier this week, I got on the phone to chat with "Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan about the season so far and the upcoming finale. As usual, Phil and I don't always agree on everything. He, for example, insists audiences loved last year's Las Vegas finale. I'm reasonably sure that was not universal the universal opinion.

The Amazing Race is about to conclude its 25th season and, for the first time ever, the final leg will feature four teams competing for the $1 million grand prize. Brooke and Robbie, also known as the wrestlers, unexpectedly finished in first place in the penultimate episode. Soul Surfers Adam and Bethany came in second, Dentists Misti and Jim came in third while Sweet Scientists Amy and Maya were last to arrive but were not eliminated. Among the remaining pairs, the Dentists seem to be physically strongest and have won five legs so far. Still it's hard to say which team would end up winning since anything can happen in the race. Here are my predictions:...

This Friday will be the winter finale for the popular CBS reality show The Amazing Race. It is hard to believe that 25 cycles of this show have been produced since 2001. The 25th edition has given the 11 teams a few different experiences than they were accustomed to in the previous seasons. The winners of the first leg were awarded a Save prize, which would protect them from elimination if they were the last team to arrive at the pit stop. Another new twist this season is that four teams will be traveling back to America with a chance of winning $1 million. The four teams still left competing are: The Wrestlers Brooke and Robbie, The Surfers Adam and Bethany, The Sweet Scientists Amy and Maya, and The Dentists Jim and Misti. A note on "Amazing Race" travel: If there are two flights to a location getting in an hour or two apart in the mid-morning or early afternoon, it's probably acceptable to worry if you're on the later flight. Those people ahead of you have a solid advantage and if they don't screw up, your chances of moving ahead of them are remote, though probably not nil. If, however, there are two flights to a location getting in an hour or two apart late at night, chances are reasonably good that you won't need to sweat it. Yes, there's always the chance, especially if the destination city is considered a night-life hot-spot, that your next task could be at a bar or club -- i.e. Sri Lanka last season -- but precedent suggests you're more likely to follow your clue to a sign telling you to have an unpleasant night's...

Last time on The Amazing Race, we bid goodbye to Alli and Kym when they were the final team to reach the mat, and host, Phil Keoghan. They didn't fall victim to Brooke's plan for all the other teams to double U-turn the cyclists, but instead their decision to go for the Fast Forward cost them precious time that they were unable to make up. I certainly hope that Kym and Alli will be invited to participate in the next All-Star edition because they are fierce!

Can we just skip to next week and the triumphant return of the "My Ox Is Broken" task? I kinda wish that "Amazing Race" recycled the most difficult of challenges more frequently. Like the hay bale challenge from Season 6 and Season 15? That one could totally be done every five seasons. And if next week's ox return is triumphant, aren't we going to be annoyed that the show waited 20 full seasons before giving somebody else the chance to try to top Colin's Season 5 meltdown? I sure will be. Fine. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Friday (November 28) night's "Amazing Race" was probably the most purely entertaining Leg of the season. It had an exciting decision process on the Fast-Forward, an impressively photogenic Roadblock and a Detour that rewarded fans who like their Detours noisy and will probably infuriate anybody who stops to think about it for more than a second.

We are down to the final five teams on The Amazing Race as the competitors hope to out-race the other teams and win the cool one million dollar prize. I have really liked this season so far, but I will admit that I am surprised that a couple of the teams have made it to this point.
Last time, Brooke plotted to convince the other teams to double U-turn the cyclists Kym and Alli because the cyclists like to hang out away from the other teams. Oh, the horror! I don't feel that this rises to the level of deserving a double U-turn, but Brooke obviously really dislikes the other team. Sadly, Tim and Te Jay were the last team to arrive and were eliminated from The Amazing Race. So who will take the lead in this leg? Let's find out!

Say this for "The Amazing Race": I went into Friday's episode tweeting that I didn't remember a thing that was happening this season after a week away for CBS to air a failed awards show and by the end of the episode, 55 minutes later, I was yelling at my screen and getting really anxious about the pending result. No, I didn't get what I wanted when it came to the episode's elimination. And no, it wasn't even all that great an episode, though it had great moments. But when they want to, the "Amazing Race" editors can orchestrate a thrilling climax pitting ostensible heroes against clear villains and they can still make me care. Let's talk about Friday's (November 21) night's "Amazing Race" episode and its exciting ending after the break... Oh, I wanted The Wrestlers gone so bad. So. So. So bad. Happy 300th Leg to "The Amazing Race." No, that doesn't mean this was the 300th episode of "The Amazing Race." By my count, it was only 296, but... Oh, I'm not going to bother trying to figure it out. "The Amazing Race" celebrated this semi-arbitrary milestone in predictable fashion with a Leg that featured a fantastic Roadblock, an interestingly misgauged Detour, some beautiful Sicilian scenery, an opening 20 minutes of filler and... Yup. A Non-Elimination Leg. "Amazing Race" doesn't like to send people home after Legs characterized by altruism and nobody likes to mix a milestone with an elimination. And, as always, you could get a strong sense that an Nel was coming due to the half-hearted editing of the climax and a really, really lame opening 20 minutes. The first segment of tonight's episode was essentially the Bikers making fun of the Dentists, who started with a lead of over 100 minutes. That...

Embargos and NDAs aside, in four or five months, I'll be able to let readers know why it was so amusing to me that "The Amazing Race" spent a second consecutive Leg traveling through Morocco on Friday (October 31) night. That amusement held sway even though Friday's Leg was, as we've almost come to expect from "The Amazing Race" this season, a mixed bag of really good tasks, confusingly confusing tasks and gratuitously complicated tasks. It was a Leg that made me build more appreciation for the teams I already liked, gave a couple unexpected stars the chance to shine, but also failed to generate even an iota of tension or excitement surrounding its result. Nope, this was an episode about good feelings for both a country trying to do well by Mother Earth and a company paying "The Amazing Race" to talk about its automotive advancements. Tna wrestler Robbie E might take the wind-relieving pose a little too literally ... 'cause even though yoga helped him prepare for the "Amazing Race" ... it turned him into a human gasbag. Exclusive: Three weeks into its run, USA Network’s new unscripted series Summer Camp is being relocated from its Thursday 8 Pm time slot to Mondays 11 Pm beginning August 5. The UK love it when either Tna or WWE come to their neck of the woods, and they will certainly try and make the most of the extended stay of the Impact wrestlers on their shores.
