Joe Ingenito
- Actor
Joe was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. and has been performing since
his first production in grammar school, where he was given the only
award for excellence in dramatics. History repeated itself in H.S.,
where he was the recipient of the first award given in the history of
that school for excellence in performing arts. After the good fortune
of meeting Frank Carucci, the resident director of LaMaMa's Theater
Group in NYC, he was fortunate enough to participate in Acting
Workshops that offered him an excellent opportunity to polish his
skills, while continuing to take various courses in Cinematography &
Acting. Before fully pursuing an acting career, Joe worked as a
stand-up comedian, where he continued to nurture his talent and gain
some degree of public exposure. Later, while pursuing his career as an
actor, he was asked to facilitate several acting workshops for a small
company in NYC. Before taking a temporary leave to tend to family, Joe was
fortunate enough to work on some T.V. and film, including a principal
role on an international T.V. pilot and a small role in an award
winning independent film. Never having really given up on his ambitions, Joe has also recently finished filming a web series pilot for Lorne Michaels' Above Average
Network, starring Craig Geraghty and Steven Randazzo, written by Andrew
Gottlieb, directed by Michael Canzoniero.
