- Dyon Verkruijssen is a moviemaker who has made several short movies, and owns a small company named 'DV-Productions'. Dyon is busy at all fronts: Besides his company, he also makes several (Award winning) short movies, is a teaching assistant at the Cals College at the age of 19, and followed successfully a 2-year-during course at the Giving Back Foundation.
Dyon has won several prizes. He came 1st at the International film festival 'Camera zizanio with the movie 'Day 42' in 2011. Also he was runner-up at the National Arts Festival[Kunstbende] With the movie 'Operation Z' in 2011. Winner at the NFFS 2010 and 2009 and became runner-up at Camera zizanio european film festival contest 2009 With the movie ''The man From vegas'.
Followed 'HAVO' at the Cals College Nieuwegein. After finishing that in 2011, Dyon got rejected twice at the Dutch Film Academy. Due to his rejection, Dyon started his own filmcompany at the age of 18.
Dyon has won several prizes since he began making films. For example, Dyon has won 4 times a prize at the 'NFFS, Nationaal filmfestival for Students' And also at the 'Kunstbende'(National Festival of Arts).- IMDb Mini Biography By: Dyon Verkruijssen
