- Alex Scorier was born on June 6, 1931 in Ottignies, Belgium. He was an actor, known for Muziekparade (1963) and Zomercaroussel (1964). He died on June 12, 2021 in Marcq-en-Baroeul, Hauts-de-France, France.
- He started his musical activity at age 18.
- During 1954 to 1956 was member of the Fred Bunge and Werner Müller Orchestra in Germany as well as that of Fud Candrix.
- From 1964 to 1991 he is a member of the BRT (Flemish radio & TV) big band under Francis Bay and Freddy Sunder.
- During 1952 and 1953 he won the International Competition of the Hot Club of Belgium. He also became the winner of Hot Club poll, together with Bobby Jaspar and Jack Sels.
- Alex Scorier studied at the Brussels Royal Conservatory.
