Take heart fellow Nintendo console owners, Mojang's popular Minecraft is finally making it's way to the Wii U, bringing with it all the advantages that the console has to offer (and plenty of add-on packs to boot). Come inside to learn more!
If you're a fan of Minecraft, you likely already have a version of it on some device, but come December 17th, you'll be able to add the Wii U to the list of places you can play it. It'll feature off-screen play (so you can do everything from the controller), as well as touch screen controls. Both of these things seem well suited to Minecraft, and this announcement means that Microsoft, who owns Mojang, is now working with Both Sony and Nintendo. It's an interesting crossover, that we haven't seen much of before:
Mojang’s video game phenomenon Minecraft launches worldwide on Nintendo’s Wii U home console on Dec.

Fringe, Supernatural, Bob's Burgers... zombies pop up in all kinds of surprising places. Remember that time Ramsay Street was invaded?
Back in the 80s and 90s, the only groups regularly enjoying zombie movies were habitually stoned students, young lads looking to prove their mettle by lobbing VHS grenades of gore at each other's minds, and great sweating giants with mutton-chops corseted into two-sizes-too-small Iron Maiden T-shirts. Very few couples partook of the genre; liver-ripping and eye-gouging was rarely seen as the essential romantic complement to an evening entwined on the couch.
Aside from George A Romero’s satirical side-swipes at society, the majority of zombie movies were gloriously nasty, schlocky yuck-fests, with names like ‘Return Of The Great Zombie Intenstine Carnival III’, 'Zombies! Zombies, Oh, Christ Zombies, They're Eating My Eyes!' and ‘I Claw-hammered My Zombie Grandma’S Head Off’. Anyone with access to a video camera,...

Natural women unite: "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" will be adapted into a feature film. The recent hit Broadway musical earned star Jessie Mueller a Tony and should be just as thrilling as a movie since it features so many classic Carole King jams. "It's Too Late" is the definitive breakup anthem of all time, everyone. But just one thing: Who the hell is going to play Carole King? I support the idea of Jessie Mueller reprising her stage role, but Streisand-type stage-to-screen moves remain pretty rare. I was personally shocked when Samantha Barks ended up in the film version of "Les Miz" after starring in London's West End production. Her face should be printed on all European currency for achieving that milestone. So just in case Mueller doesn't get to fly her tapestry on the silver screen, here are a couple of suggestions that seem feasible. Emily Blunt I...

Kim Kardashian has taken it way too far with the makeup! She usually looks absolutely amazing, but on Feb. 11, she was spotted in her car, arriving at Khloe’s house with a ton of makeup on her face. Do you love or loathe her cakey look?
33-year-old Kim Kardashian definitely left little to the imagination on Feb. 11. She had on layers and layers of makeup — not natural at all! We love her natural beauty as we’ve seen on her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Why conceal your gorgeous skin, Kim?
Kim Kardashian’s Heavy Makeup — Too Far?
Kim stopped by little sis Khloe Kardashian‘s house. She was spotted getting out of her SUV with thick, caked-on makeup and we have to say… it did not look good. Kim had a full face on. We don’t love this look on Kim — do you? Vote below.

Even with a title like “Our Favorite Simpsons Episodes Ever”, we are still reluctant to say that the following episodes are in fact our favorites or even the best episodes. There is no scale for these things as you know. Kevin and I took our time and each came up with our top 10 Simpsons episodes.
Do you have a favorite Simpsons episode or moment or list to share? Comment below.
Homer the Heretic – S4E3
This episode has everything I enjoy; anti-religious sentiment, fantastic sight gags (like when Homer bounces back into the burning house) and let’s be honest; if it’s all about Homer it’s going to be great. My favorite moment has to be Homer’s morning which includes a musically charge shower, Risky Business re-enactment and his famous Moon Waffles. Ever make one of those? You die a little.

The complete list of Grid 2 achievements have been released this week and we have them here for your viewing pleasure.
When it comes to racing games, the Grid series is amongst the best. The first game offered a truly exciting and at times, exhilarating driving experience. The sequel, Grid 2, boasts exotics locations like Abu Dhabi and Paris and will also include cars from the past four decades. Additionally, Codemasters has also developed a new handling system which they are calling TrueFeel. They claim it will achieve the perfect balance between realism and accessibility. Hopefully they make good on that claim.
The game promises to push boundaries and offer gamers the purest racing experience yet. Judging by what the studio did with the first Grid, I see no reason to doubt them. There’s also a lot of buzz surrounding the re-imagined multiplayer mode, which has its own has its own...

This week's Huddle is inspired by Flavorwire's list of Film's Most Awkward Couples, including Rosie O'Donnell and Dan Aykroyd in Exit to Eden. While we can agree with that weirdness as well as most of the others on their list, there are plenty of awkward pairings we can come up with, too — including some lesbian twosomes.
Dana Picolli: Papi and Kit from The L Word. What in the hell were they thinking with this one? I remember screaming "Nooooooo!" at my screen during their awkward hook up. Kit was so kick ass, and the whole thing felt so forced. She deserved better than that. Shortly after that, Papi walked off into the West Hollywood sunset, never to be seen or heard from again.
Heather Hogan: Tobias and Lindsay Funke! They're the most ridiculous/hilarious awkward couple in history!

2012 will be the first year that GeekTrant will invade WonderCon, mostly due to the fact that it was moved down to Anaheim, CA this year which is right in our backyard. We're all pretty excited about attending this year, as we've heard it's a much smaller more intimate version of San Diego Comic Con.
WonderCon is set to open on Friday, March 16th and run through Sunday, March 18th at the Anaheim Convention Center. If you plan on attending let us know, and maybe we can meet up and hang out for a bit!
I've put stars next to the panels we are interested in attending. Check out the schedule, and let us know what you are looking forward to seeing most!
Friday March 16th
12:30-1:30 Idw Presents: The Idw Panel!— Chief creative officer Chris Ryall and sergeant of marketing Dirk Wood, give out prizes, make announcements, and evade questions!

Who doesn’t love candy on Halloween?
But all those sugary eats aren’t exactly good for you.
This holiday, skip the candy aisle and opt for more healthy choices says Corey Colwell-Lipson, founder and director of Green Halloween and author of Celebrate Green! Creating Eco-Savvy Holidays, Celebrations and Traditions for the Whole Family.
“[I know] how it is hard to find treats that are kid healthy,” shared the mom of two. “[And] most parents don’t have the time, inclination or money to seek out alternatives to conventional candy.”
For some great ideas, check out Colwell-Lipson’s top...

The big brains behind tiny-costumed warrior Ronal The Barbarian have packed their bags and headed to New York City where they're currently recording the English language vocal dub for the film. And amidst actors lifted from the world of Glee and The Sopranos they've gone and landed themselves some very big hair. The Dubbing of the Danish 3D animation Ronal The Barbarian in production in New York and already its shaping up to be an eccentric mix of teen heart throbs and 80s rock stars.Ronal himself will be voiced by actor Pierce Cravens (Rising Stars), Ben Bledsoe (Glee) will take up the role as the rocking bard Alibert. Ashley Acarino (The Devils Own) as the sword-wielding Zandra, and Twisted Sister's Dee Snider adding the required...

Well, our first question is: Why, God, Why? Why would Glee‘s Chord Overstreet dye his hair? This is just like when Keri Russell cut off her beautiful curly hair and Felicity got canceled. (Oh, you don’t remember who that is? Start paying attention to your sixth-grade geometry teacher, and stop reading the Internet during class). Following in the footsteps of Dianna Argon’s short haircut, Chord told Us Magazine yesterday, “At the end of the season, I just wanted a haircut, so I cut it all off. I cut the highlights out.” Photos of Chord Overstreet in glasses prove the boy would look good in anything, but let’s be real: that shimmering chestnut shine is straight out of a box of Clairol Natural Instincts, not the hand of Mother Nature. Though now that we look at him a little more, Overstreet does look cute in a “your...

The tagline for Harry Shearer's The Big Uneasy, a Katrina doc that digs into the Army Corps of Engineers' role in the post-hurricane New Orleans flood, reads "Natural Disaster? You Don't Know the Half Of It." Shearer is well-known to public radio listeners for his weekly Sunday talkfest Le Show; the Renaissance man is not only a sharp and funny writer-actor-producer-director and mockumentarian (This is Spinal Tap, For Your Consideration, The Simpsons) but a well-versed media commentator and blogger for The Huffington Post. The half-time New Orleans resident is dead-serious when covering the Katrina debacle. On the eve of the hurricane's fifth anniversary, he decided that putting his own more deeply reported documentary into the conversation might help bring the mainstream media up to speed. ...

How would you like to be riding on a tourist submarine, looking at all the snazzy WWII wrecks under Waikiki bay, only to have some annoying fat kid yelling, "Mommy! A mermaid!" You look up and see not a mermaid, but a dead girl. I'll take an order of psychiatrist with my next mi-tai, thanks. Next we see a very happy McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) in bed with his girlfriend Catherine (Michelle Borth) -- the same one who can somehow commandeer government satellites for him at any time. Hey, at least he's "paying" her back for it. He gets called to the house of the of the dead girl's family; the father happens to be the Us Ambassador to the Philippines. And, they're friends of the Governor (Jean Smart). Seems the dead girl's sister is still missing, and initially, they think it's a ransom. The new security guard/K&R Agent...

Ben Stiller could spend another night at the museum. Following the achievements of "Night at the Museum" and "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian", Thomas Lennon who wrote the scripts for the first two movies claimed making the third film is really possible. "How could you not? I think it's a really outstanding idea to do 'Night at the Museum 3', in fact," he stated.
Being met on the red carpet of the "Pee-Wee Herman Show" at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, he also hinted that script for third film is being worked on, telling Access Hollywood "I wonder if someone's not even already working on a script for that." Lennon then added, "I cannot confirm that for a fact, but I cannot deny it for a fact either... It might be in the works."
Furthermore, Lennon has shared his thought about where the upcoming "Night...

Simon Baker's Patrick Jane is going back to the past in the next episode of "The Mentalist". While he and the team examine the crime scene where a baseball scout is found murdered, he is clocked in the head by a ball and flashes back to his childhood with his overbearing father.
Titled "Throwing Fire", the episode will be aired on December 17 and has Nick Chinlund playing as Jane's father. Other guest stars include Brent Sexton, Jude Ciccolella, Omar Leyva, Frank Gallegos and Ben Bledsoe among others.
Previously, it was reported that Aunjanue Ellis will be joining "The Mentalist" cast, playing the new head of the California Bureau of Investigation.
