Out today in select AMC theatres and also available on VOD is the horror film Anarchy Parlor, the feature directorial debut of Kenny Gage and Devon Downs. In our latest Q&A, we caught up with Gage, Downs, and actress Tiffany DeMarco to discuss filming Anarchy Parlor in Lithuania, writing the movie with Robert Lasardo in mind, shooting in a real 12th century dungeon, and much more.
How and when did you guys initially come up with the idea for Anarchy Parlor?
Kenny Gage: Devon and I have been friends for years. We are fans of the "realism" style of horror and were looking to make a film that felt familiar, yet very different. We read a crazy article about the 17th century practice of binding books in human skin and knowing that this film was looking to become a reality, it truly gave us the inspiration to take our story to another level.

They say a picture speaks a 1,000 words. When it comes to Love Sick starring Francisco Barreiro (Here Comes the Devil) and Tristan Risk (American Mary), that couldn't be more true. Check out the delightfully nasty first promo image!
From the Press Release
Polluted Pictures is proud to share the first promotional image featuring Tristan Risk (American Mary) and Francisco Barreiro (Here Comes the Devil) in their roles as the pained couple in the feature film “Love Sick.”
“Love Sick” is the story of Rebecca and Marcus who “have been together for 10 years and after much deliberation have decided to part ways. After separating and being with others, they quickly realize how hard it is to disconnect from one another. The pain, lies, and betrayal all begin to manifest physically within the both of them as well as infect the others who have become involved with intimately. They love each other so much that it hurts.

Written and directed by Todd Freeman, M is for Marriage (formerly titled Love Sick) is a short film currently in the running for a spot in the upcoming anthology horror film ABCs of Death 2.
Starring Natalie Victoria, Jeffree Newman, and Michael Draper, the film tells the story of a couple attending marriage counselling. The counselor uses a very unusual technique—having his patients visually manifest their pain. The couple is separated for this, but things don't go well for this particular couple.
M is for Marriage is a unique short film that I found to be quite compelling. The acting is well done, especially by Natalie Victoria who expertly conveys the deep hurt and anger she feels toward her husband. It is simply but effectively shot and edited, and the Special Effects are amazing. I think the other...

Now the British summer has made a belated reappearance, we can expect a few downsides such as hay fever, sunburn and insect bites - but no flying pests in our gardens can rival Dragon Wasps. And a can of the standard repellent probably won't do much good either.
This giant creature feature is written by Mark Atkins. His previous genre outings include numerous hit-inspired 'mockbusters' such as Snakes on a Train, 30,000 Leagues Under The Sea, War of the Worlds 2, Allan Quartermain and the Temple of Skulls, Princess of Mars (an alternative version of John Carter), Battle of Los Angeles and Avh: Alien vs Hunter.
He's also been involved in several dragon-themed productions including Dragonquest, Merlin and the War of the Dragons, and Dragon Crusaders.
Now offering an insect slant on the concept, the cast of Dragon Wasps features Corin Nemec (Stargate Sg-1, Smallville, Supernatural), Dominika Juillet (Dark Angel), Benjamin Easterday...

A. Michael Baldwin, the star of Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm franchise is back in a brand new horror film, Brutal, the first film from writer/director Michael Patrick Stevens which has completed shooting and is now looking for distribution.
Not much is know about Brutal beyond the official press release and behind-the-scenes video below:
Baldwin waited 12 years for the right film to to come along to make his return to the big screen. The whole world sees him as Mike Pearson from “Phantasm”, a very iconic part. Many film makers who grew up as fans have offered him lead roles in their movies but he turned them down. He was never going to return to the film industry and act again, unless he could find another iconic & memorable role, that would separate him from “Phantasm”. That role finally came when he read the script for “Brutal”.
