Fernández is a versatile author who studied audiovisual communication
and actors' direction at the Barnard College in New York. In the last
few years he has directed fictional works for Walley Global Inc., a US
production company which specialises in producing TV movies for the
English-speaking market. He produced and directed one of the most
successful sitcoms in the US Hispanic market entitled "Madre solo hay
dos".
Fernández has a wealth of experience in the audiovisual sector and was
responsible for setting up and managing the Canaries Autonomous
Television Channel, which he headed for five years. He has also held
different relevant posts in media companies as important as El País
newspaper or Cadena SER radio station. Lately Fernández has devoted
himself to audiovisual productions setting up the factories Report Line
Producciones and Plató del Atlántico which are the largest audiovisual
infrastructure available in the Canary Islands and one of the biggest
production centres in Spain. Report Line also has a branch office in
Miami (USA).
