This Star Wars: Ahsoka review contains spoilers.
Ahsoka Episode 7
“Dreams and Madness,” Ahsoka season 1’s penultimate episode, looks great on paper but falls short in execution. We get to spend more time with Ezra and Sabine, we get to see Thrawn exert his tactical dominance from his war room on Peridea, there’s a frantic space chase inside a Purrgil graveyard, and we’re even treated to a lengthy cameo by C-3Po. So why does the episode fall a little flat?
It’s not that there’s one big issue that tanks the entire episode. Rather, it’s an accumulation of little creative decisions that don’t hit the mark. Take C-3Po saving Hera and Teva’s asses in the courtroom, for example. It’s fun to see him put Senator Xiono in his place and clear Hera’s name on Leia’s behalf, but as a courtroom scene,...

Early in Emily the Criminal, Emily Benetto (Aubrey Plaza, sporting a New Jersey-native accent) is asked about her permanent record in a job interview. It’s a trick question. Despite telling her otherwise, this prospective employer has already done a background check. They already know about the low points on her rap sheet. So they know, when she tries to explain herself, that she’s lying, or at least only telling half of the truth.
It’s about “trust,” you understand. You can imagine why someone with a record who...

A random VHS tape of a Mcdonald’s janitorial training video serves as ground zero for Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher’s lifelong obsession with obscure video clips that eventually morphs into the touring event known as the Found Footage Festival. Directed by Ben Steinbauer (Winnebago Man) and Berndt Madre (Booger Red), Chop & Steele documents the duo over the course of four years. The result is downright hilarious, examining the absurd predicament Pickett and Prueher found themselves in while pulling pranks to break up their 130 days on the road.
Easily getting on smaller-market morning shows as the Found Footage Festival rolls into town, they test the limits by inventing characters that force the anchors to keep their cheery demeanor. They include a chef who specializes in making smoothies from leftover Thanksgiving meals, an incompetent performer who lectures local students on environmental issues via yo-yo skills, and strongman duo Chop & Steele.

Pauly D must be saving the $10K he gets an episode on " Jersey Shore "... because the fist pumpin' dude is in the market for a $200,000 Lamborghini . TMZ has learned the tanorexic DJ checked out a souped-up Chopper Edition Lambo at Towbin Automotive in Vegas the other day -- the same dealership featured in the A&E show " King of Cars " -- and while he didn't drive anything off the lot, we're told it's "very likely" he'll buy the car.
