Anna began her career as an actress in the Chicago theater scene and received an education in ensemble training at The School at Steppenwolf at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. Finding she thrived in collaborative environments, Anna co-founded a storefront theater with fellow graduates of her Steppenwolf training program and was the Artistic Director of SiNNERMAN Ensemble for six years. The first play she wrote, Sweet Confinement, was produced by her theater company, received critical praise, ran to sold out audiences and won several awards. Her screenplay of the same name and adapted from the play, recently made it into the 2nd round of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Anna can be seen in shows such as American Horror Story, Good Girls Revolt, Fresh Off the Boat and Goliath among others. She's also enjoyed success as a Commercial and Voice Actor as well as in TV, Film and Theater. Her short film, Bliss Blue, which she wrote, starred in and produced has had a successful festival run and can now be viewed on the streaming site Seed&Spark.
