Skinford was shot and released in its native Australia and apparently nowhere else, in 2017. A sequel, Skinford: Chapter Two followed in 2018. So, when I saw the title Skinford: Death Sentence pop up on my radar I naturally enough thought it was a third film in the franchise.
Then I noticed the plot and crew credits were the same as the original film with just a couple of differences in the cast. A quick check of the copyright date confirmed this is not a new film. As near as I can guess new sales agent/distributor Black Mandala saw its potential as a cult film and picked it up; they must have some faith in it as IMDb has an entry for Skinford 2: The Curse which bears a...

*there are spoilers here. Director: Daniel Krige. Writers: Jonathon Green and Anthony O'Connor. Cast: Nicholas Hope, Kelly Paterniti, Sam Reid, Alan Dukes, James Mackay, and Hayley McElhinney. Redd Inc. is an Australian shot horror film, which was originally titled Inhuman Resources. This is truly an independent film, that was partially financed through crowd funding. Redd Inc. is also a tale of an office worker's worst nightmare. Thomas Reddmann keeps his five workers literally chained to their desks, while needling them to work harder. Shot primarily on one location, Redd Inc. can sometimes look drab, but the film's characterizations and especially the lead villain create for an exceptionally good time. Thomas Reddmann is accused of several axe-murders. Reddmann was able to escape the local mental rehabilitation unit, after he is found guilty. He puts his time to good use. Soon, Reddmann has abducted five characters, each of whom are involved in his case.

While looking back at my viewing for this year, I have seen a lot of genre films, and actually I have seen a lot of really good ones. I had been surprised quite a lot this year, and I wasn’t sure if anything else this could do that. I was proved wrong with Redd Inc. (Inhuman Resources is the Us title), not only did this film surprise me, but also it is one of the best genre films I have seen this year. This is a great film, not just a great genre film, there is so much to enjoy and embrace here.
Our storyline here is very intriguing, with a setting that is very brave and it works like a charm. Six people wake up chained in an office, to desks by a man named Thomas Reddmann (Nicholas Hope), an escaped killer. His...

Sure, "The Office" isn't the same since Steve Carell left, but the Nard-Dog doesn't make that bad of a boss. And as much of a douche as he was as the boss of Initech in Office Space, Bill Lumbergh was more annoying than anything else. But Thomas Reddmann, now that's a bad boss.
Green Light Productions has released the eagerly anticipated trailer for Redd Inc., a film that draws inspiration from the early Saw films but incorporates them in a new environment. And did we mention that master of horror Tom Savini appears not only in the film but on the FX team as well? Nice!
Coming at us from Down Under, Redd Inc. stars Nicholas Hope in the role of the diabolical Reddmann. Kelly Paterniti, Hayley McElhinney, and Sebastian Reid co-star alongside Daniel Krige, who also directed. The film was written by Jonathon Green and Anthony O'Connor.
Check out the trailer below.

Tom Savini is returns to horror! Yep, that's right folks. If.com and DreadCentral.com are reporting that after close to what's been a decade, horror FX and acting legend Tom Savini (responsible for creating special effects and makeup for such classics as Friday the 13th and George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead) is coming out of retirement on the makeup and FX end to hammer away at two new Australian horror movies. Nick Nicolaou's Mary Doe and Daniel Krige's Redd Inc.
Redd Inc. is a horror revenge tale that follows Annabelle – a burlesque webcam stripper. She gets abducted and ends up chained to a desk with five others in a macabre, horrific make-shift office. Their self-appointed “boss” is escaped, wrongly-convicted serial killer Thomas Reddmann, aka Redd, demented from experimental, behavior modification treatment. He requires Annabelle...

Tom Savini got his start in the film business by creating some of the greatest F/X work horror movie fans have ever seen. As his career expanded, he left behind the latex and Karo syrup and began creating characters in a different manner ... by portraying them on screen. While that's cool and we love some of Tom's characters, we've been hungry for him to get back to F/X work. Speaking of which ...

An article for an Australian news outlet has revealed that Tom Savini came out of retirement to assist and supervise FX on two upcoming films: Redd, Inc. and Mary Doe . The former, directed by Daniel Krige, takes today's popular "strangers trapped in a single location" scenario, except this time it's strangers (led by an abducted web cam model) who wind up in an office and are subjected to sundry cruelty from a wrongly-convicted serial killer. Nicholas Hope plays the lead baddie against actress Kelly Paterniti. Savini has a cameo. Mary Doe , meanwhile, is seeking funds and aims to roll soon under the direction of Nick Nicolaou. That film is a zombie tale.
