Ryan Tedder is launching a series of non-fungible tokens Tuesday, making him the latest high-profile musician to jump on the booming trend.
Tedder, the OneRepublic frontman and a prolific songwriter for the likes of Beyoncé, Adele, and Taylor Swift, partnered with Swiss street artist Bustart on his Nft drop. Bustart designed the visuals for the token — a dancing and skateboarding fox named Nakamoto — while Tedder wrote and recorded an original track accompanying the visuals.

Exclusive: Seth MacFarlane is bringing The Orville to San Diego this week in a big way — and not just for the fans attending Comic-Con International.
A sprawling exhibit called The Orville Experience will bring the sci-fi show’s 25th century universe to the historic Carnation Dairy Building (390 11th Avenue)with a huge collection of props, creatures, costumes, concept art, and practical models, including the show’s title starship, the USS Orville, the Planetary Union exploration vessel named after aviation pioneer Orville Wright.
MacFarlane personally engineered the exhibit idea, which came together very quickly. He told Deadline that he wanted to connect the show to its fanbase by figuratively welcoming them aboard the USS Orville.
“After completing two seasons of The Orville and witnessing the wonderfully gratifying audience response, I decided I wanted to bring something directly to the fans this year — and there’s no better place to do it than San Diego Comic-Con,...

According to the newest “Magnum P.I.” star, Jay Hernandez, having a Latino lead play the titular character in the show’s reboot is about more than just recasting the character for a modern audience.
Hernandez told Variety at its Comic-Con Studio that there’s a psychology involved with television imagery and what viewers are exposed to on a daily basis, and he hopes the show will help reverse negative stereotypes about people of color.
“There’s a lot of negativity attached to people of color, so it’s really wonderful and bold and special to have this opportunity to put that imagery to tell stories and to be on TV and to have something up there that is in very stark contrast to a lot of what we’re absorbing on a subconscious level,” Hernandez said.
Hernandez’s co-star Stephen Hill, who will play the show’s helicopter pilot T.
