Not all comic-book movies have to be about superheroes or heroes at all for that matter. Case in point: Accident Man. Originally debuting in a series of comic strips in the 90s, Accident Man was created by Pat Mills and Tony Skinner – two legends of the UK comics scene. For those not familiar with the Mills and Skinner creation, Mike Fallon is a hitman, a stone-cold killer and the best at what he does. Yet he’s no ordinary hitman. Instead, Fallon has a very particular style of assassination: all of his jobs are completed by making it look like the target was killed simply by accident… Hence the name Accident Man.

Fans of action, rejoice! The amazing martial arts star Scott Adkins has a new movie that was released this past week! Adkins has starred as Boyka in the sequels to the 2002 prison boxing movie, Undisputed, which had transitioned into an incredible series of martial arts films, and Adkins himself won awards from the Jackie Chan Action Awards for Best Fight and Best Actor for the most recent entry, Boyka: Undisputed. And if Jackie Chan feels he’s earned that award, you know it’s some amazing stuff! You can also see him in films like Ninja, Ninja II: Shadow of the Tear, Doctor Strange, The Brothers Grimsby, Zero Dark Thirty, The Expendables 2, he had a cameo in Netflix’s Day Shift, and he’ll be in the upcoming John Wick 4.

"There's a gaggle of assassins about to turn up!" Goldwyn Films has revealed the official US trailer for an action comedy sequel titled Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday. It's the second movie after the original Accident Man in 2018, directed by Jesse V. Johnson, bringing back Adkins as the "accident man" in the title. Scott Adkins returns as Mike Fallon, a tough hitman who makes his hits look like accidents or suicide. The Accident Man is back again and this time he must fight all the top assassins to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend, and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure. Sounds wild! In addition to Adkins, the cast includes Ray Stevenson, Perry Benson, Sarah Chang, Flaminia Cinque, Faisal Mohammed, Peter Lee Thomas, and Beau Fowler as "Poco The Killer Clown". This does look ridiculous in a self-aware way, and...

Well sh*t… Scott Adkins just had to go and step it up a notch with this very Brutal, very British, hugely funny and fairly orginal Brit crime drama. Boasting a superb leading man performance from Adkins and a delightful supporting cast of top Brit talent.
So I saw the trailer, then I read the synopsis, I looked into the cast list and instanly thought ‘Well I know how this is going to go’. However I do love a lot of the cast involved in the flick and I am known to enjoy a good Brit crime thriller. Add to this Adkins has never failed to deliver when it comes to punch-y,...

"Come on in, don't be shy." Samuel Goldwyn Films has debuted an official trailer for the indie action thriller Avengement, an intense new crime film made in the UK. This is the latest collaboration between Adkins and director Jesse V. Johnson, they also made Triple Threat together. Avengement is about a lowly criminal who is thrown in jail and made into a cold-hearted killer. While on furlough, he escapes his guards and goes for revenge on the people who set him up. The cast includes Craig Fairbrass, Thomas Turgoose, Nick Moran, Kierston Wareing, Leo Gregory, Beau Fowler, Louis Mandylor, and Terence Maynard. This looks like your standard revenge action flick mixed with prison brutality, without much more to offer. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Jesse V. Johnson's Avengement, direct from YouTube: While released on furlough from prison, a lowly criminal (Scott Adkins) evades his guards and returns...
