Sacha had produced a number of music videos by the time he joins his first feature film as 'runner', soon after completing a production attachment at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (1987). Soon after he produces and directs his first TV Show - a rap music documentary for SBS.
A myriad music videos, and TV commercials later (1990's); he goes on to manage major events and large-scale TV productions and live concerts for television networks in America - mostly for MTV Networks.
Despite such distractions, Sacha's passion is to make feature films, so he returns to Australia and joins the Producer's Post Graduate at Melbourne's VCA School of Film and Television, produces a number of award-winning short films, and goes onto a Screen Australia funded yearlong internship to Los Angeles, working under iconic US Film Producer Don Murphy and with legendary sales and acquisitions executive Shebnem Askin at Mark Cuban's mini-studio '2929'.
Sacha returns to Australia and begins developing scripts and a new slate of feature projects with partners and collaborators, while working in various commercial productions. He joins the Vedado Films team in 2015 producing the youth documentary Habana 16 in Cuba. And together with Gabriel Beristain, goes on to lay the foundations for the company's filmed entertainment division.
Vedado Films has since developed an exciting slate of new screen titles, producing a feature length documentary and the feature film Havana Kyrie - starring Franco Nero and Ron Perlman in 2019, with Sacha as Co-Producer. Soon after he embarks on a number of new feature projects including the upcoming feature film The House of Abraham Phillips, in collaboration with the team at The Lan Film LTD in Wales.
