Himani Kapoor, an acclaimed Indian playback singer, first came into the limelight as a finalist on "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" in 2005. Born and raised in Faridabad, Haryana, she has since become a prominent figure in the Indian music industry.
Kapoor showcased her versatility by hosting "Antakshari" on Zee TV alongside Karan Oberoi before competing in "Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar" on Star Plus. She achieved widespread fame and became a household name overnight with her rendition of "Dum Dum Mast Hai" for the movie Band Baaja Baaraat, composed by Salim-Sulaiman.
She later participated in "Music Ka Maha Muqabla" as part of Mika Ki Sherni on Star Plus. In 2007, she embarked on a world tour with Himesh Reshammiya, performing across 20 different countries.
