Armed with a BA in Film Theory and Critical Studies and a Masters in screenwriting and directing from USC's prestigious School of Cinematic Arts, Evan's journey into the world of filmmaking was marked by unwavering dedication and creative fervor. During his time at USC, Evan triumphed with his epic sci-fi thesis "Recoil" (2015), which clinched an impressive 10 awards and over 20 nominations across 50 international film festivals with a staggering 265 VFX shots. He interned under legendary producer Mike Medavoy at Phoenix Pictures, was the right hand to media titan Mark Burnett, and had a soaring, versatile career through live event award shows (MTV Movie Awards); scripted television (24); reality TV (Survivor, The Apprentice, On the Lot); documentary films (An Inconvenient Truth); and feature films (The Hollow, InSight, The New Manna). Evan's prowess shines in his award-winning work, touching hearts and minds around the world with "The Teleios Act" (2019), a tour de force that secured multiple jury prizes, Best Director, Audience Choice, Best Actress, and a coveted Best Short Film accolade. Amidst his ongoing pursuit, he has taken pen to paper to co-write "The New Manna" (2024) and is set to make his directorial debut with "Motherland" (2024), a project that promises to be a testament to his diverse, artistic journey.
