Director Bhaskar made his debut with the film Bommarilu way back in 2006 and it went on to become a big hit earning him instant fame and fortune.
Unfortunately, the next set of films, Parugu, Orange, Ongole Gitta and Bangalore Natkal turned out to be box office duds which were a major setback for him. Following this, not too many offers came his way and projects that he was to do with Karthi and Venkatesh were put in the backburner.

For past two months, Dharani has been making high time news for directing the hottest pair in Tollywood – Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal. They together had made a brilliant show in ‘Magadheera’, which is now getting dubbed in Tamil as ‘Mannathi Mannan’.
Dharani’s project was put on hold as Ram Charan Teja hadn’t completed shooting for his upcoming film ‘Orange’. This film is directed by Bommarilu Bhaskar and features Genelia D’Souza in female lead.
The movie launch of Dharani’s untitled project was held on May 1 and now the shooting moving on full pace. Director Bharathan of ‘Azhagiya Tamizh Magan’ fame is penning dialogues for this Telugu version.
If dubbed version of ‘Magadheera’ turns to be a big hit, then there are chances for even this flick to be dubbed in Tamil.

The hearts of many a young woman stopped with the news that Shruti Hassan and Siddharth may be an item. The pair, who have recently teamed up for a movie, have been seen enjoying the highlights of town together. "Shruti and Siddharth have been spotted together many times," says a source, "They look very comfortable with each other. Sid and Shruti have had many lunch and dinner meetings and even been arriving at parties to dance the night away."
Shruti recently sat on a panel at the Ficci Frames 2009 Media & Entertainment Business Conclave where she talked about her desire to balance two careers in music and film and why nothing could beat making music the old-fashioned way with instruments rather than Autotune. "While technology is great, and quite essential at times, we musn't forget the human element," she argues, "Nothing can beat the human voice or the warmth of a single musical instrument.
