Rodney Mason(I)
- Actor
- Art Department
Rodney Mason was brought up by a single mom, who watched her son
entertain her in the Philly projects. Filled with images of Fred
Astaire and the Nicholas Brothers, Rodney could shuffle, hop, boogie
and freestyle with the best. His active imagination carried him through
his service as a Marine, and brought him to Chicago where he worked
with 2nd City. Then to Los Angeles, where he was recognized with the
Olivier Award for his work with Rennie Harris in the hip-hop
Shakespearean Rome & Jewel. Rodney has a strong and loyal fan base for
his stand up and one-man shows. Recent sold-out appearances included My
Mother's Son at the Red Cat, Disney Theatre downtown. He has shot a
pilot for a sketch comedy show, with members of Mad TV, and is actively
developing projects with Tanqueray and Grey Advertising, for his
persona as "Tony Sinclair." He is also active as a voice over actor,
having worked in company with other major stars for Focus Features.
