The 2023 Global Citizen Festival rolled out Saturday in Central Park in New York, the latest edition of annual music festival that this year was headlined by Lauryn Hill and a Fugees reunion and a closing set by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The lineup of performers also included a salute to the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with Common, Busta Rhymes, Rapsody, Big Daddy Kane and Spliff Star. BTS’ Jung Kook and Latto, Anitta, Conan Gray, Sofia Carson, Stray Kids and D-Nice also hit the stage on the park’s Great Lawn.
