- Prof. Brian J Ford is best known as an international author of over 35 science books. He first appeared on television in 1962, and has made numerous television programs in London, Cambridge, and Hollywood, among others. He co-hosted the UK series "Food for Thought" which went straight into the network Top Ten in its second week, and hosted two series of his own television game show "Computer Challenge" for the BBC. For German television he presented his own travel series, "Jensheits das Kanals" ('Across the Channel') with programs showing unexpected aspects of life in places including the British Lake District, rural Wales, and Cornwall. He has also been the subject of documentaries made for Korean TV, France and Japan. Ford's scientific research has been widely featured on news networks like CNN, and in documentaries for the History and Military networks, and also for the Discovery Channel. Reviewers describe him as "a master of the art of getting the message across on television". His most recent books are on the secret weapons of WWII and on the evolution on dinosaurs.
