Lluís Carbó, who played Quixote in Honor of the Knights - He was one of the principal actors in all of Albert Serra's films, died at the age of 83 on 29th August 2016.
The last art film 'Singularity', was presented at the Catalan Pavilion for the Venice Biennale in 2015. In this 13-hour film, he plays the role of the homosexual owner of a gold mine who "buys" his partner (Lluís Serrat), marries him, and together they end up adopting a child. This was the culmination of his career artistic farewell. Albert Serra said: "He influenced me and reaffirmed the idea that the playful and provocative aspects of life had to be at the heart of our methodology, I combined this with an aesthetic ambition and formal thoroughness that had such special results. The starting point was LLuis Carbó and everything his attitude represented."
