He was always told that with his looks, funny stories and antics he belonged in movies, television and commercials by all of his friends, teachers and family. Please meet Ron Bath, retired after a lifetime of government service and serving the Department of Defense and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Ron decided to follow the recommendations of all who know and love him and reinvented himself to become an actor. He immersed himself in acting, and started his studies with the very best acting teachers he could find in his adopted state of Texas; Names like Michele Condrey, Nancy Chartier, Cathryn Hart and Actress Scarlett McAlister of Los Angeles. He also studied under world famous LA acting coach Margie Haber who helped mold the acting skills and careers of such stars of motion pictures and television as Brad Pitt and Heather Locklear. Ron has appeared on television in Prison Break, the movie Midnight Clear with Stephen Baldwin, Walking Tall II with Kevin Sorbo and Missionary Man with Dolf Lundgren. Ron is one of those fortunate few you hear about that married his high school sweetheart. Ellen, along with their two children think "Dad" is perfect for the screen. He has kept them full of drama, suspense as well as hysterics for a lifetime. With a real life background of all his government agency work under the highest of US and NATO security clearances, he has the ability to create realistic characters with authentic skills and mannerisms. "Despite all his years of cloak and dagger work, Dad can also be "stand-up comic funny", they exclaimed! Ron is a member of the Dallas Screen Writers Association, The Dallas Producers Association and the Dallas Indie Club. He has a professional working voiceover studio in his office and is ready and able to do voiceovers on short notice. They live happily ever after in Dallas, Texas, USA presently. - Was performing stand-up comedy at The Hyena Club when a member of the audience approached and gave him some advice after his set. The fellow told Ron that he would get more laughs if he quit telling such entertaining stories. "People in the audience weren't laughing as often as they should so as not to miss part of your story", the man said.
- When doing character research for a part as a homeless man in a TV series, went to a Goodwill Store and purchased old, warn, hand-me-down clothing. The next day he returned wearing the wardrobe, along with beard stubble, and stood outside the Goodwill store watching peoples reactions to his appearance as they passed by. A well dressed lady came up and pressed a crisp five dollar bill into his hand and with quivering voice said; "God Bless You" and drove off in a new Mercedes.
- Joined a carnival for a few days and helped the "Ride Monkeys", as they called themselves, assemble rides for research as a "carney" in a movie. They were not told he was an actor, and the grounds boss told him he had "moxie" and offered him a full time job. After the audition, Ron felt he should have taken it. He's still proud that he has "moxie".
