13 Reasons Why‘s Bryce Cass is set for a major recurring role in Amazon’s upcoming Ya drama series Panic. Created and written by Lauren Oliver based on her bestselling book, Panic centers on a small town in America where every year the graduating seniors engage in a competition they believe is their one chance to escape. But this year, the rules have changed — and they must decide how much they are willing to risk in order to get out. Cass will play Adam Lyons, a recently graduated senior. The goofy counterpoint to Tyler in the trinity of Ray’s friend group, Adam doesn’t take anything particularly seriously–which is why, ironically, he might have a serious shot in the game. Cass is best known for his standout role in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, which he wraps this month, and Columbia Pictures’ Goosebumps. He’s represented by Stride Management...

It is scary how few decent family Halloween films have been made in recent years. Not tenuously linked creature themed animations with a 5 second glimpse of a pumpkin. Proper, unapologetic, Halloween centred shivers squarely aimed at children. Happily things are about to change. That poor overworked Hocus Pocus DVD (and precious Tim Burton collection) can enjoy some time off this half term as you head for the cinema to scare the fidgets right out of your little monsters. Goosebumps 2 is here!
The unexpected love for 2015’s Goosebumps was a heartening thing to behold. Its winning combo of fond nostalgia and meta smarts proved irresistible for anyone with a well thumbed Night of the Living Dummy in their past. And the time elapsed since R.L. Stine (watch out for another Stan Lee style cameo…) was the tween thrills king saw many of those readers delight in introducing their own children to the pulse quickening,...

We are as anxious as ever to return to Liberty High School for the second season of 13 Reasons Why as we continue to watch the mystery surrounding Hannah Baker unravel. A slew of new actors have joined the show for season two, including newcomer Bryce Cass as Tyler's new friend Cyrus.
Cass has been flying under the radar lately, but he's been working in the entertainment industry for well over a decade. The actor started his career in 2006 with a small role in the film The Guardian alongside Ashton Kutcher. Not a bad first gig, right? Originally from Dallas, TX, Cass worked with acting coach Cathryn Sullivan to hone his craft. He also made an appearance on a 2007 episode of ER at the age of 10 and was a regular participant on the hilarious TV reality show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.

It’s a war for “our land, our families, our lives” and, for some reason, it’s failed to make any real impact among film critics. But is Battle: Los Angeles actually any good?
I was asking myself this question on the way into the cinema with a handful of friends for one main reason, no not because of the 32% Rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but because, our side of the ocean at least, the studio were completely unwilling for anyone other than carefully selected print media outlets to review this film prior to release. Now for a big budget genre film, that’s practically unheard of. It’s a tactic normally reserved only for the crappiest of movies and the horror genre as a general rule, for fear of negative reviews. So why was it employed here and more importantly, should the studio have been that concerned in the first place?...

Thirty minutes into Battle: Los Angeles, you’re sure director Jonathan Liebesman has done it. We meet our main players, they’re sent into battle, lives are lost and you’re genuinely sick to your stomach with grief. If aliens ever did come to earth looking to take over, this is what the war would feel like. Sadly, that success is then tarnished by more of the same, unrealistic heroic garbage. It’s [...]...

Corey Hardrict is definitely a rising star. You’ve seen his face for years and I’m guessing that in only a couple more he may just be a household name. I recently interviewed him and it was refreshing to meet someone who is as enthusiastic and appreciative as he is for all of the opportunities he’s been given.

The movie revolves around a marine platoon’s battle against an Alien invasion taking place in Los Angeles. I’ll throw in a trailer below but I can save you the time: It looks great – watch it.

First up, THR reports that R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo has joined the cast.
