- Graduated with a 4.5 from The Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts.
- She went through the Conservatory on scholarships, grants, loans, and with the help of her classmates and teachers. She also babysat and cleaned her teachers houses for extra cash.
- Upon graduation she landed a job teaching movement for the stage at the prestigious Vassar College, with the New York Stage and Film Program.
- Her father was born in east L.A. and was an elementary school teacher, her mother was born in Mexico and was the director of a migrant farm camp in Davis, California. Her mother fought for the rights of migrants who worked in the fields alongside Ceasar Chavez. Eventually due to years of being around the pesticides her mother passed away from cancer. Her father later died of a heart attack.

After posing for the Rollins Band CD cover, Playboy called and asked if she would do a pictorial in Playboy.com for the Rollins Band fans. She agreed. - Roxanne Arvizu is of Spanish, Mexican, Irish and Basque decent.
