- Was a social worker with abused and neglected children for children's social services in Columbus Ohio before relocating to California where she departed from social work and began a career in the construction industry. Frances studied acting and professional modeling in the evenings and has enjoyed the challenges of managing three diverse and rewarding careers. She became a Black Barbie model for Mattel Toys, participating annually in Dream Halloween, an event by the Children Affected by Aids Foundation with sponsors such as Mattel Toys, and has modeled both print and runway for various clients including Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Macy's and more. After being rear ended in two multiple vehicle auto accidents in 2003, Frances was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, a musculoskeletal pain illness and has since participated in events with the National Fibromyalgia Association. She was featured in FM Aware magazine October 2005-January 2006 issue, was quoted in Natural Health Magazine in the October 2005 issue, and participated in a documentary to assist newly diagnosed patients. Frances has been featured in many commercials including Disney, Franklin Templeton Investments, McDonalds and more, and has most recently been seen in episodes of The Bold and The Beautiful.
