One day after he issued a carefully-worded statement that stopped short of the words “I’m sorry” in relation to a link he posted to an antisemitic film, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving was asked at practice today whether he holds any antisemitic views.
“Again, I’m going to repeat. I don’t know how the label becomes justified because you guys ask me the same questions over and over again,” Irving said. “But this is not going to turn into a spin-around cycle — questions upon questions.
“I told you guys how I felt. I respect all walks of life and embrace all walks of life. That’s where I sit…I cannot be antisemitic if I know where I come from.”
Asked directly for a “yes” or “no” answer to the question about his views Irving repeated, “I cannot be antisemitic if I know where I come from,” evading a definitive “yes” or “no.

Basketball Wives Season 4 Sneak Peek: I Don't Want Bridesmaids
By now, you've surely gotten caught up to speed in the Basketball Wives gossip circus, a pre-cursor to fully understand the recently released season 4 supertrailer. The hiatus hasn't been quiet for the ladies of Miami, with friendships shattering, new business opportunities popping up, and a whole lot of anticipation building for season 4. Ahead of its premiere in a few days, VH1 has released a seven minute sneak peek which pulls no punches from the get-go.
What most interested me, though, was a brief clip at the end of the preview, where Royce confronts Suzie about her behavior last season; once the latter got re-accepted by "the circle", she all but ditched her former friend, a bit of shadiness that undermined her "I don't like drama" mantra. Suzie did everything in her power to be "cool" last season, becoming the eyes and...

Basketball Wives: Setting the Scene for Season 4
Believe it or not, it's been about six months since Evelyn, Jennifer, Shaunie, Tami, Royce, and Suzie have been on our television screens, throwing drinks, shade, and pretty much anything not nailed down. When last we left the Super (Messy) Six Basketball Wives, the circle had weakened following Jennifer's comments about Evelyn's fiancee but retained its power long enough to keep Royce on the outside looking in yet again. Meeka was looking more and more like a one season wonder thanks to her feud with Tami, while Suzie had become a full-fledged part of the circle, thereby squashing any prior season beef with Evelyn and company and distancing herself from Royce. Amidst all the typical reality drama, Shaunie promised that season four would focus less on rivalry and more on camaraderie and charity, but would she follow through?

The past three seasons of Miami-filmed "Basketball Wives" have been filled with physical drama. NBA players' former lovers, ex-wives, baby mamas, and fiancés -- rarely any actual wives -- have repeatedly come to blows on the Vh1 reality series. It's why audiences keep tuning in -- over 4 million viewers watched the season three reunion.
In one episode, Evelyn Lozada (current fiancé of Chad Ochocinco and former fiancé of Antonie Walker) and Royce Reed (baby mama of Dwight Howard) threw cocktails in each other's faces. In another, Tami Roman (ex-wife of Kenny Anderson) popped Meeka Claxton (wife of Speedy) in the face.
Season four of "Basketball Wives", which premieres February 2012, is likely to have even more violence and drama. One of two new cast members is Kenya Bell, a former Miss Michigan who was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Last May, she reportedly stabbed her then-husband Charlie Bell...

The newest additions will bring plenty of drama -- sources say Kenya allegedly tried to stab her husband and Kesha got dumped the day before her wedding. Basketball Wives has welcomed two new cast members to their VH1 family, according to TMZ. Kenya Bell and Kesha Nichols will be the fresh faces of the all-new season four. Sources tell TMZ that Kenya has already fallen into the villain role by fighting with some of the original cast mates. She's a former pageant queen -- Miss Michigan -- and has a controversial history. She alleged attacked her husband Charlie Bell and tried to slice him with a box cutter. As HollywoodLife.com previously told you, we spotted Kenya getting buddy-buddy with Jennifer Williams and Suzie Ketcham at Jennifer's Lucid Lipgloss launch party in NYC on Nov. 15. Cameras were there filming the shindig. Kesha's story is that she was engaged to Richard Jefferson...

Basketball Wives Adds Two Cast Members for Season 4
It's been a busy off-season for VH1's Basketball Wives, filled with rumors about which ladies would be staying on for season four and just what direction the show would be taking. After dumping one season wonder Meeka Claxton and retaining the services of Royce Reed, Basketball Wives has filled out its roster by not one but two spots.
TMZ is reporting that the new wives we'll be seeing are Kenya Bell and Kesha Nichols, two women apparently on opposite sides of the reality personality spectrum. Bell, married to veteran point guard Charlie Bell, is said to be the villain, having already stirred things up with multiple cast members. Nichols, on the other hand, has been well-liked, so don't expect to see Richard Jefferson's former fiancee with her claws out anytime soon.

Not only is today Canada Day, but it also represents the first day of the free agency period in the NBA. Under normal circumstances, that's not such a big deal, as it just means that dudes who were already rich are going to get more money for wearing a different shirt in a different city. But this year is different because the crop of available free agents is the greatest it has ever been, and the contract decisions made over the next month could drastically change the face of the NBA for the next decade. The crop of players seeking new contracts includes LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Dirk Nowitzki, Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudemire and Paul Pierce. Even the second-tier players available (dudes like David Lee, Carlos Boozer, Richard Jefferson, Rudy Gay and Ray Allen) could change the complexion of a team on the brink or a squad looking to rebuild.
