“Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 is back and it’s a bit different Season 31 — including having a new (old) home. Here’s everything to know about the season.
Where is “Dancing with the Stars” Season 32 airing?
ABC and Disney+. That’s right. After one season exclusively on Disney+, “Dancing” returned to ABC for Season 32, which will also stream live on Disney+. It is the first series to be simulcast on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will also be available the next day on Hulu.
“I’m very happy we’re back on ABC,” Derek Hough told TV Insider in June. “I think it was fantastic that we moved to Disney+ for a season. It did great, but I think that there’s definitely [still] an audience on ABC, a very loyal audience that may have missed out on last season. It’s groundbreaking in that I’ll be on both platforms as the same time.

Once upon a time, Dance Moms was one of the biggest hits on cable TV.
Now, Lifetime is attempting to capitalize on its success with a reunion special set to air in 2014.
Airing from 2011-2019, the hit series focused on Abby Lee Miller as she ran her Abby Lee Dance Company.
That entailed her coaching a team as they learned their dances and competed in tournaments.
The series' success probably stemmed from the drama between Miller and the contestants' parents.
If you watch Dance Moms online, you know what we mean: Abby had countless spats with the parents throughout the show's eight-season run.
Much of the arguments ranged from Abby's treatment of the children to parents being displeased about creative choices from Abby.
It was a lot, and now, it's time for some of the show's most famous faces to return and unpack all of that drama.

Former Dancing With the Stars pro Lacey Schwimmer, who appeared on the ABC competition series for six seasons, has been opening up about her time on the show and the hurtful comments she received at the time about her weight. Appearing on the latest episode of the Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast, hosted by fellow DWTS alum Cheryl Burke, Schwimmer touched on upsetting remarks made by ex-dwts pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Louis van Amstel back in 2008. “First, no one should ever, ever discredit somebody based off of their appearance. I don’t care if you’re skinny, fat, whatever. Ugly face, busted teeth — I don’t care what you look like. It has nothing to do with your talent or ability or what you are hired to do,” Schwimmer said, per People. The pro dancer said that when she was on the show (from Season 7 to Season 13), it was...

Former Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron has opened up about the events that led to him being fired from the show after 15 years.
While appearing on Cheryl Burke’s Sex Lies and Spray Tans podcast, Bergeron explained that, when he met with the showrunner and producer in 2019, he urged them to keep the show apolitical amid a polarizing election year.
“Don’t go there,” Bergeron recalled saying to his bosses. “Just make us the wonderful escape from all that divisiveness for two hours a week.”
A few weeks later, Bergeron was given the cast list for the show’s 28th season and saw that former White House press secretary for Donald Trump, Sean Spicer, was included.
“I said, ‘Guys, this is exactly what we said we wouldn’t do,'” Bergeron explained. “And I would have responded the same way if they had booked Hillary Clinton, whom I voted for.

When Dancing With the Stars this Tuesday pays proper tribute to the late Len Goodman, one of the competition series’ most prolific pros — Cheryl Burke — will be oddly absent.
Goodman, who judged both DWTS and BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing for many years, died in late April after a battle with bone cancer, at age 78. In last month’s season premiere, DWTS hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro paid a brief tribute to Goodman, and announced that the show’s Mirrorball Trophy was now named after the former head judge.

Brooke Burke is setting the record straight on the comments she recently made about Derek Hough.
The 52-year-old host and TV personality won season seven of Dancing With the Stars with the pro dancer, now judge, and during an appearance on Cheryl Burke‘s podcast, she said that dancing with him almost tempted her to have an affair.
At the time, she was married to actor and singer David Charvet.
“I just thought [Derek] was so young and green and safe. I had no idea he would be such a powerful, badass choreographer,” she said, adding, “Had I not been married… I would have actually hoped we would have had a love affair.”
Now, on the upcoming Monday (October 23) episode of Tamron Hall Show, Brooke is clearing the air on those comments.
