Craig DeLeon
- Composer
- Music Department
Bronx-born Craig DeLeon has been composing original music since he first heard Prince's "I Wanna Be Your Lover" at age 8. Today, he is enjoying plaudits for his moving Main Title Theme and additional music for the new Apple+ documentary Sidney directed by Reginald Hudlin and produced by Oprah Winfrey; the score to the Apple+ series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey produced by and starring Samuel L. Jackson and the Netflix feature film End of the Road, which stars Queen Latifah, Ludacris and Beau Bridges. With his upcoming scores for titles including the HBOMax series Velma for creator and star Mindy Kaling, the Amblin/Paramount+ series reboot of the classic Fatal Attraction starring Lizzy Caplan and Joshua Jackson, and director Joe Carnahan's theatrical film Shadow Force for Liongate to name just a few, DeLeon displays a range and sensitivity inspired by the interesting path his career in music for picture has taken since his work was previously heard on scores to Sia's Golden Globe nominated feature film Music, the hard-edged and emotional documentaries Showtime's Supervillain: The Making of Tekashi 6ix9ine, and Amazon's Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby both directed by Karam Gill.
DeLeon began his career at the legendary production company Propaganda Films as an assistant to director Spike Jonze. DeLeon's brief included creating concepts for music videos with a director roster that included David Fincher, Antoine Fuqua, Michel Gondry, and Michael Bay.
Craig lives in Los Angeles with his two children.
