[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Ghosts Season 3 Finale, “Isaac’s Wedding.”] Ghosts held a very special wedding in its Season 3 finale episode, aptly titled “Isaac’s Wedding,” but fans were in for a big surprise when Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) couldn’t go through with his nuptials to Nigel (John Hartman), and that wasn’t even the most shocking moment. While Isaac experiences a touch of cold feet due to the presence of living stripper and DJ Chris (Deniz Akdeniz), he seems to be swayed back to the idea of marriage until Pete (Richie Moriarty) returns from his St. Lucia getaway sharing his feelings of love for a ghost named Donna (Allegra Edwards) that he met while there. Realizing that he doesn’t feel this way about Nigel, Isaac decides to step back from the impending marriage, leaving Carol (Caroline Aaron) of all ghosts to pick up the leftovers and get married to a bayonetted red coat.

Grodman says the season 3 finale is even bigger than season 2.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Ghosts Season 3, Episode 9, “The Traveling Agent.”] Ghosts is breaking new ground in the latest installment, “The Traveling Agent,” as do-gooder troop leader spirit Pete (Richie Moriarty) discovers his special power is that he can travel beyond the ghost boundary on Woodstone’s property. While this power would thrill almost any spirit you could think of, Pete is initially reluctant to embrace the gift tied to his past as a travel agent who didn’t travel when he had the chance in life. What’s there left to fear after you’ve already died? For Richie Moriarty’s Pete Martino, the spiritual being of a 1980s travel agent and scout leader on the hit CBS comedy Ghosts, the possibilities are unimaginable.
As in, he can now actually stop dying and starting living. The nervous goody-two-shoes never really lived his own life because he was too busy making other people’s fantasies come alive (he even died by an arrow through the neck because he was helping a bunch of young scouts learn archery). Because the penultimate episode of the series’s third season, entitled “The Traveling Agent,” showed that Pete has a special power that none of the other ghosts who inhabit the show’s very haunted Woodstone Mansion seem to possess: the ability to leave the property.

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from Thursday’s episode of Ghosts.
Woodstone Mansion was in for quite the surprise on this week’s episode of Ghosts.
The penultimate episode didn’t disappoint, revealing yet another ghost’s powers. It looks like Pete (Richie Moriarty) isn’t stuck on the property after all. Unlike everyone else, he isn’t bound by the ghost border at Woodstone and can travel wherever he pleases. Naturally, his first getaway is a trip to the grocery store with Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), who immediately loses him due to the fact that he can’t actually see any of the ghosts.
Luckily, this wasn’t another Flower (Sheila Carrasco) situation. By the end of the episode, Pete had returned safe and sound. But the newfound confidence he got from leaving the property inspired him to take a trip to see his family. Hopefully he’ll be...

As she got acclimated to the social climate, she learned more about Pete’s life in Woodstone, and to look less pathetic in her eyes, he begged for someone to pretend to be his girlfriend. (Credit: Bertrand Calmeau/CBS) Ultimately, Alberta stepped up to the plate, feeling bad for her friend, but she tried drawing a line in the sand, saying that this scheme shouldn’t wind up with them falling in love. CBS is looking to scare up more laughs after handing an early Season 4 renewal to supernatural comedy Ghosts.
It is the latest renewal order for the Paramount-owned network, which also handed a third season to Fire Country and gave Justin Hartley series Tracker a second season earlier this month.
Ghosts, which is based on the BBC’s British comedy, has been a success for CBS since launching in 2021. Its third season is averaging over 10M viewers in live 7-day multiplatform viewing, which is marginally up from last year and streaming numbers are up on Paramount+, where the company said it ranked as its number one comedy in February.

Credit: Smallz + Raskind/CBS Casting for a new television show is always an interesting process. Sometimes, producers have an actor in mind when they’ve created a character; other times, the process can be long and arduous. When actors respond to a show’s casting call, they know there will be plenty of competition, so they often brace themselves for disappointment. When the show Ghosts was casting a few years ago, Richie Moriarty took his chances. Spoiler alert: He got the role on the show. But, as he told a Comic-Con panel audience a few years ago, landing the role on the comedy series didn’t come without some drama. Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched the Season 3 premiere of “Ghosts,” titled “The Owl,” which aired Feb. 15 on CBS.
Flower, hopefully you’re finally getting to cuddle a few bears up there in the sky. Yes, you read that right: There’s one less ghost on “Ghosts,” as the characters said farewell to Flower on the Season 3 premiere of CBS’ hit comedy.
The series finally returned on Thursday (after a long strikes-induced delay), and we learned which spirit had been finally sent to the afterlife. After a few fakeouts, the ghosts discovered that it was Flower (Sheila Carrasco) who was “sucked off” in the Season 2 finale, as witnessed by Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar).
Flower is the 1960s-era hippie who died trying to hug a bear while high on acid, and remained a bit forgetful and drugged-out while living in the purgatory that is Woodstone Mansion.

Season two of CBS’s popular half-hour comedy Ghosts ended on a cliffhanger that left fans speculating as to the identity of the ghost who has moved on. Sam watched (and described to Jay) from the driveway of the Woodstone Mansion Bed & Breakfast as one of the ghosts got “sucked off” – the unfortunate term used by the dearly departed to indicate one has finally left Earth and is a ghost no more.
The teaser for season three episode one, “The Owl,” gives nothing away as it shows Sam searching the house, with Jay trying to help out before remembering he can’t see ghosts. CBS’s official description of the season three premiere airing on February 15, 2024 at 8:30pm Et/Pt also doesn’t reveal any specifics:
