Veteran studio publicist Jamie Geller has joined Kenn Viselman Presents, a new company specializing in children's entertainment, as vice president of publicity.
Geller was most recently at Disney, and before that at MGM, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Fox Searchlight. She reports to Eileen Potrock, Svp, marketing and third party strategic alliances.
"With her experience in both film and television and her can-do attitude," said CEO Kenn Viselman, "I fully expect Jamie to make significant contributions to achieving our goals."
Viselman, whose previous ventures included distributing Teletubbies domestically, and "Thomas the Tank Engine" worldwide, created this new company to make movies and TV for children, as well as reality TV shows, publishing music and more.
The company's first film, due for release in 2011, is "The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure," which stars Jaime Pressly, Chazz Palminteri, Cloris Leachman, Toni Braxton, Cary Elwes and Christopher Lloyd.
