A plane crash in Libya killed 93 people—allegedly everyone on board except an eight year-old Dutch boy. The plane, which took off from Johannesburg and whose passengers were primarily Dutch tourists, crashed as it landed in Tripoli. The New York Times reports: “Ad Meijer, a spokesman in The Hague for the Dutch foreign minister, Maxime Verhagen, said that embassy staff had not yet verified whether all of the tourists were Dutch citizens, including the boy, whose age had not been confirmed.” The airline is also hesitant to confirm details about the survivor; an official in London told the Times that Afriqiyah Airways has “no information” any survivors. While the Times cited the boy’s age as eight, CNN reported that he’s 10 and MyNews.in described him a nine-year-old.
