Jonathan Sebastien is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at
Lafayette. He has worked steadily in daytime television since
graduating and produced in the entertainment field in Los Angeles,
Chicago and Louisiana. He has been nominated seven times for a Daytime
Emmy Award for Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. productions.
Sebastien was the Senior Producer of the Judge Judy court television
program, which landed him five Daytime Emmy nominations at Paramount
Pictures. He spent nine years producing for Paramount. In June 2011, he
earned his sixth Daytime Emmy nomination for Judge Jeanine Pirro,
produced by Telepictures, a Time- Warner Company. The following year,
he garnished his first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding
Legal/Courtroom Program for the same program. Currently, he is
producing for the Judge Greg Mathis television court program for Warner
Bros. He is a Member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and
has conquered other syndicated credits including Paramount's The Leeza
Gibbons Talk Show, MTV's Loveline, Warner Bros.' Jenny Jones Show,
Comedy Central, and assisted in the 1998 Primetime Emmy Awards show.
After relocating from Los Angeles to Louisiana and helped produce the
film version of the R. L. Stine series Mostly Ghostly starring Ali
Lohan that was released through Disney. Sebastien partnered his True
South Entertainment Company with Promotion Pictures, owned by film
producer Steve Stabler. Stabler's credits include Dumb & Dumber
starring Jim Carry and Kingpin starring Woody Harrelson. Sebastien
teamed with Stabler's Commotion Pictures to produce the film Mostly
Ghostly, which was released by Disney in 2009. He was owner/partner in
Maxim Entertainment, which produced the independent horror film, The
Zombie Farm, which was released in March 2011 on DVD through Maya
Entertainment and distributed via Amazon.com, Netflix and On-Demand.
Recently, he co-executive produced and starred in his own reality
television pilot based on his own Louisiana family following his twelve
siblings who conquer the daily struggles and pleasures of Louisiana
life, hard work, family, food and culture. Sebastien is active in
entertainment development whether in Louisiana, Los Angeles or Chicago.
