One of the costars of the Disney+ show, The Santa Clauses, Casey Wilson, accused the show’s lead, Tim Allen, of being rude on set.
“Tim Allen was such a b—,” the Saturday Night Live alum declared on her podcast, B— Sesh: A Real Housewives Breakdown. “Worst, truly single worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star ever.”
She remembered filming the scene where her character, the older version of Sarah from the original film who gave Scott Calvin/Santa Claus (played by Allen) soy milk, notices him entering her house and assumes he is a burglar.
“I’m supposed to throw things at him,” the actress recalled. “He’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa. And I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder – basically like a home invasion scene.”

There was very little “ho ho ho-ing” on the set of Disney+’s The Santa Clauses, if one of the co-stars is be believed.
Casey Wilson, who appeared alongside Tim Allen for the pilot episode of the series, slammed him in a recent talk on her podcast. She claims working with him was the “truly single worst experience I’ve ever had with a costar ever.”
“Tim Allen was such a b – – h,” she said. The Saturday Night Live star claimed she didn’t put Allen on the naughty list right away, saying she “buried this” information for more than a year since the series’ release. Why? A friend was a producer and her kids “loved the movies.”
The series was a continuation of Allen’s classic “Santa Clause” films. Wilson portrayed “Adult Sarah” in the series, the grown version of the girl who gave Santa soy milk in the first film.

It’s safe to say that Casey Wilson and Tim Allen won’t be exchanging any Christmas presents this year. While speaking on her Bitch Sesh podcast, Wilson said that working with Allen on The Santa Clauses was “the truly single worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star ever.” Yikes.
Casey Wilson made a guest appearance in the first season of The Santa Clauses as Sara, the grown-up version of the little girl Tim Allen encountered in the very first Santa Clause movie, but it wasn’t a very festive experience.
“So I’m in a scene. It’s just me and Tim Allen and I’m supposed to throw things at him,” Wilson recalled. “I think he’s a burglar. So he’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa, and I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder, basically like a home invasion scene. So...

June Diane Raphael and Jessica St. Clair launched their podcast, The Deep Dive, in the midst of the pandemic as a way to compensate for the loneliness and disconnect of lockdown.
Each week, the two longtime friends and creative collaborators discuss their pursuit of joy amid a bevy of challenges both relatable (motherhood, aging) and aspirational (finding the correct poolside attire for Miami Beach Pride). Doing the podcast helped lift the actresses out of their own post-lockdown voids, and their motto — “Let Us Live!” — echoes through Apple reviews posted by their ever-expanding listening community.
When the abrupt work stoppage of this summer’s double strike threatened to trigger a similar existential crisis, they were ready with an antidote: They launched the Deep Dive Academy of Significance.
“We started a virtual school, and that is one of the most insane things I think I have ever said,” St. Clair says with a laugh.

ABC’s ratings-challenged Happy Endings created a cult following thanks to its relatable stories about a group of friends in their late 20s and early 30s. While the comedy helped to launch the careers of stars Eliza Coupe (Jane), Elisha Cuthbert (Alex), Zachary Knighton (Dave), Adam Pally (Max), Damon Wayans Jr. (Brad) and Casey Wilson (Penny), behind the scenes, the Sony-produced series created by David Caspe was effectively its own showrunner training program. As Rutherford Falls creator Sierra Teller Ornelas revealed in a recent Twitter thread, Happy Endings had 23 writers over its three seasons, with an incredible 21 — including assistants — becoming showrunners.
During this week’s TV’s Top 5 podcast, hosts Lesley Goldberg and Daniel Fienberg reunite 14 of the Happy Endings writers to build off Ornelas’ thread and discuss, in light of the ongoing Writers Guild strike, the benefits of having a traditional writers rooms, why having writers on set...

Warner Bros. Discovery has been in and out of the news a lot lately. From its ruthless new attitude toward its films and shows to its perpetual (yet worrisome) money games, there's reason to be concerned — that is, if you're one to keep tabs on that sort of thing. Recent drama aside though, Warner's streaming platform, HBO Max, still boasts one of the strongest catalogs in the game. Even with the merciless culling and routine roster rotations, there's still a ton of good to discover each month.
March will signal another shake-up for the streaming library: HBO Max will be removing quite a few movies and shows this month. Fortunately, there's still plenty of time to check out some of the best projects before they're gone. Let's take a look at the best movies and shows leaving HBO Max in March.

What does Harley Quinn love about Valentine’s Day? It’s the only day when there’s a built-in excuse for doing cheesy sh*t for your partner. (Her words – not mine!) HBO’s critically acclaimed adult animated comedy Harley Quinn will air a special love-themed episode in honor of the most romantic day of the year, according to candy companies and greeting card sales. Love is in the streets of Gotham City — literally, all the citizens of Gotham are having sex in the streets in the first trailer for “Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special.”
The special holiday episode, which releases on HBO Max on Feb. 9, follows the same raunchy, R-rated tone of the main series, which stars Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn and Lake Bell as Poison Ivy.

Home Economics wrapped its regrettably abbreviated 13-episode third season on Wednesday with an earthquake-themed finale, and ABC has given zero indication whether it plans to bring the supremely underrated sitcom back for Season 4. (When asked, an ABC rep tells TVLine that there’s no news to share yet on a possible fourth season.) And since we loathe uncertainty almost as much as we do premature cancellations, we rang up series co-creators/co-showrunners Michael Colton and John Aboud to get a temperature check on the show’s future.

In this era of so-called peak TV, television networks, cable channels, and streaming services continue to disgorge a head-spinning array of content on a seemingly daily basis. Watching all this content is simply a physical impossibility for one person. Given the sheer volume of television shows competing for viewers' attention, it's not surprising that a select few shows will inevitably rise to the top while others face the cruel axe of cancellation.
