[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Hacks Season 3, Episode 6, “Par for the Course.”] Hacks welcomed a handful of glitzy guest stars in its latest Season 3 episode, “Par for the Course” as Deborah (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder) attended the American Television Affiliates Golf Tournament as their campaign for late night continues. Hoping to schmooze the affiliates who could help her land the gig, Deborah is particularly taken with Bob Lipka (Tony Goldwyn), the CEO of the conglomerate that owns the network Deborah’s show would be on. Turning her attention mostly to him, she dumbs down her golf game to let him win and does all she can to sway things her way, but when she learns that Jack Danby (Luke Cook) is poised to take the late night host gig, she drops the facade and lets Bob get a taste of her real golf game. “She gets very thorny and kicks my ass on the golf course,...

Sylvia Caminer’s feature narrative directorial debut Follow Me is a twisted cautionary tale and a clever skewering of internet celebrity. Social media’s made thousands of people famous for doing nothing more than filming themselves putting on makeup or declaring themselves experts on some random topic. (No actual proof is necessary.) One video is sometimes all it takes to launch a lucrative career.
Follow Her’s protagonist, Jess Peters (Dani Barker), hopes the road to financial success is paved with the online videos she surreptitiously films of men in compromising positions. Need a dominatrix to lock you in a freezer? Message Jess. Looking for a woman to tie up and tickle? Jess is your woman if the price is right.

“Dollface” is a comedy series about female solidarity with Jules Wiley (Kat Dennings) playing the protagonist role. Produced by ABC Signature, this show has something surreal about it. It reveals what life is like for Jules, who suffers heartbreak after getting dumped by her longtime boyfriend. The character deals with the challenges of rejoining female social circles and rekindling lost friendships.
The plot takes unusual twists and turns to tell the story of female friendships in the modern world. Unlike most romantic comedies, the protagonist doesn’t seek comfort in a new love interest but aims to mend broken friendships. As a result, the storyline has a fresh take on girl power and sisterhood spiced with a bit of humor.

Fantaspoa 2022 Review: Follow Her is an Inventive Psychological Thriller That Will Keep You Guessing
For director Sylvia Caminer’s debut feature film Follow Her, we are immersed in the dangerous side of online culture as a streamer gets more than she bargains for when she decides to take on a potential job, unaware of just what her potential employer’s intentions towards her truly are. As someone who watches hundreds of movies every year, I can’t even begin to tell you how much my mood improves when something comes along and manages to surprise me, and Follow Her did just that, over and over (and over) again. The script, written by the film’s star Dani Barker, is completely engrossing and thought-provoking but also leaves you with some food for thought while you’re watching it (more on that later), but it also finds some ingenious ways of subverting expectations and turning some tried and true tropes on their head as well, making...

Meet Henry (Dakota Shapiro). Henry has a hobby. Like a lot of young men, he likes looking at women, but Henry doesn't do it on bars or clubs, or on the street. He hacks into their webcams. Henry's roommate, Eric (Luke Cook) assumes this is a sex thing and wants to watch them take their clothes off, but Henry is horrified by that. Such things are private, he says. "What, and the rest of their lives aren't?" Eric counters.
Each man thinks the other is behaving inappropriately, but they're mates, so what can they do? Each also feels that the other is basically a nice guy who wouldn't actually harm anyone. Through the webcams, Henry frequently sees women having to deal with men who are definitely not nice guys, and this observation - together with the opportunity to feel better about himself by contrast - seems to be part of the.

Henry (Dakota Shapiro) has had a difficult life. The abuse he endured from his father made it so he can barely leave the house. Talking to strangers (let alone women) is a non-starter. And he can’t even open the door to his dad’s old room for fear of thinking he might somehow be inside despite promising never to come back. Henry’s existence is thus confined to the den. He sleeps on the couch, takes late-night walks to stay isolated, and sublets his old room to Eric (Luke Cook), an aspiring actor from Australia, to pay the bills his lack of a job cannot. So his days are spent alone on his computer with “friends”: six unsuspecting women he watches through hacked webcams.

The sixth and final season of Lucifer will debut on September 10, Netflix announced during the show’s panel at Comic-Con@Home on Saturday.
But before moving forward, series star Tom Ellis, and executive producers Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich discussed the past including Dan’s (Kevin Alejandro) shocking death while chatting at the virtual event.
“Kevin Alejandro actually pitched us him dying because he’s like, ‘It’s the last season, and everyone has grown to love this character. We were in early goings-on and it sort of stuck with us as we went on. So it’s Kevin’s fault, really,” Henderson said.
Added Modrovich, “Yeah, he said he wants to go out in a fiery blaze of glory, so he did.”
The trio did tease a few things to look forward to, as well. Including whether or not Lucifer would continue being involved in cases.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for the final season of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” through Episode 7.)
Netflix’s horror-drama “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” gave a big shoutout to ABC’s ’90s sitcom “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” in its recently launched final season with the cameos for Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick. Or, as fans of the Melissa Joan Hart-led comedy remember them, Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda.
The “Sabrina”-“Sabrina” crossover event comes in the Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa-created series’ penultimate episode, when Sabrina Morningstar (played by Kiernan Shipka) enters the “Other Cosmos” in hopes of saving Sabrina Spellman (also Shipka) and the rest of her loved ones from the Eldritch Terrors. It’s here, in this alternate reality, she finds herself the star of a long-running TV series, with her aunties played by Broderick and Rhea, and her *real* Aunt Zelda and Hilda are their understudies.

This Chilling Adventures of Sabrina review contains no spoilers, except for some information that was presented in the series’ trailers. It is based on all eight episodes of season 4 that were made available to critics.
“Once more into the fray, right guys?”
Let’s just bottom line things right up front here: This is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s strongest — and most entertaining — season. So naturally (in what is rapidly becoming the streaming giant’s signature move) Netflix canceled the series just as it reached its creative peak. The eight episodes of this fourth and final chapter of the Archie Comics-inspired series have it making bold character choices and plot developments that are genuinely surprising.
Indeed, there is a finality to these new installments that make one question how soon into the production process the show’s creative team was informed of its cancellation.. Whomever knew what and when...

Katy Keene Episode 9

For a series to shake up its established formula nine episodes in is a dicey prospect. Then again, the stakes are so low on Katy Keene that any kind of narrative experimentation was unlikely to land with too hard of a thud. That said, it is appreciated that this installment broke up its plots into individual stories concerning Katy, Josie and Jorge – with Pepper being the lace applique masterfully connecting them all.
Pepper may be a con artist with a super shady past, but if there’s one thing that she has perfected during her years of pulling scams it is how to read people. In tonight’s atypical episode, she is the only one of our leads to not get a standalone subplot. Instead, her arc (involving someone...

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Nicholas Scratch may be a jaded wizard well into his 50s, but since he bears the handsome visage of actor Gavin Leatherwood, it's hard to hold any of his sins against him. Satan knows he's been up to a lot of naughty business since we met him in the first season! On the Netflix supernatural drama, Nicholas finds himself as the human flesh cage for the Devil (Luke Cook), who also happens to be his girlfriend's father. The position isn't a fun one for the wizard (though Leatherwood admitted to having a bit of fun when the cameras weren't rolling), but luckily Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) and her friends get him out of that pickle. Sadly, his troubles don't end there.
When it comes to dear old Nicholas's current situation, Leatherwood believes the character is simply lost.

Dakota Shapiro and Oliver Cooper in ‘Valley of the Boom.’
After making his Us TV debut in the National Geographic docudrama Valley of the Boom Dakota Shapiro was thrilled when he landed a role in the pilot of The Lost Boys, adapted from Joel Schumacher’s 1987 horror comedy movie.
The Australian-born, La-based actor had a terrific time shooting the pilot for The CW network, produced by Rob Thomas and directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
He played David, the sexy, dangerous and immortal vampire portrayed in the original film by Kiefer Sutherland.
The CW chiefs weren’t happy with the pilot scripted by Heather Mitchell and ordered a total reshoot, which retained just two members of the original cast: Shapiro and Medalion Rahimi, who played the carefree Californian Stella, David’s love interest.
However that hasn’t happened and the network’s hold on Dakota has expired so he is now busily auditioning.

Maintaining a healthy work/life balance is difficult if you are a mere mortal, so imagine being Satan's daughter.
