- Scott Walker was born in Auckland, North Island, New Zealand. He is a director and writer, known for The Frozen Ground (2013), The Tank (2023) and Ordan's Forest (2005).
- The first film Walker wrote and directed, THE FROZEN GROUND was finally released on Netflix USA in 2021, and in its first week, became the #1 Most Watched Movie and holds an audience score of 88% on Amazon Prime USA. In his review, Jamie Edwards at Magic FM, described it as, "At last a suspense / thriller to rival Se7en." In her review for RogerEbert.com, Sheila O'Malley gave it 3 out of 4 stars and praised Walker's direction and Nicolas Cage's performance. Joel Amos wrote in his review for MovieFanatic, "A performance by Nicolas Cage that is among the best of his career and certainly the best in at least a decade. And a break-out performance by Vanessa Hudgens. In 2022, Quentin Tarantino saw the film and called it "The best serial killer film, I've seen in years!".
- During Covid, Walker wrote, produced and directed the low budget, practical creature-feature, THE TANK. It was released in May 2023 and its trailer spent 14 days as the #1 Most Popular of all trailers on Apple Trailers in the US. In its first three days of release, the film reached #2 on the Horror Top Movie Chart on AppleTV USA, and holds an audience score of 80% on Amazon Prime USA. It received enthusiastic reviews from Fangoria, Dread Central, Horror Buzz and Bloody Disgusting etc. The film was then released on Netflix in Scandinavia in November, 2023 and in its first four days, reached #4 in Most Popular Films.
