![Several stories interweave, chronicling the lives, loves and adventures of a group of diverse, inter-related characters in and around the port city of Wilmington, NC.
David, a bored and lonely waiter in Wilmington, NC, finds his life turned upside down when he starts an affair with Hannah, a mysterious older woman whose past is as unclear as her motives.
Complicating his life even further is the unexpected arrival of Jason, DavidÂ’s very talkative, very gay new neighbor, whose awkward attempts to form a friendship with David are constantly misinterpreted.
DavidÂ’s sister, Nancy, is the unwitting recipient of two menÂ’s attention--married church deacon George, with whom she had a one-time fling, and her sleazy boss Pruitt.
DavidÂ’s co-worker Jeanne must only deal with her shiftless husband, but he turns out to be the biggest problem of all... except for maybe that trailer park hitman who just set his sights on a new target.](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMTM1MTQ5MTE5Nl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMzkyMTU2Mg@@._V1_QL75_UX500_CR0,47,500,281_.jpg)
