- Is a fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Fort Wayne Komets.
- Penned his first script at age 7.
- Tried out for a professional hockey team (RHI) in 1996. Was called back for a second tryout, but was unable to attend due to a health concern.
- Started lifting weights at age 17, and excelled quickly. At 18, he was bench pressing 315 pounds, and set the school record for shoulder shrug at 615 pounds. At age 19, he was training for the Olympics with 8-time National Champion and 3-time Olympian Fred Lowe. He later gave up weight lifting to make time for family and filmmaking.
- Currently writing, and scheduled to direct "The Komet", set to be released in theaters in 2007. (January 2006)
- Finished writing the script for the comedy feature "The Only Child" (currently in pre-production). (September 2005)
