Amy Rhiannon Worth is a British actress who is known for Coronation Street, Doctors BBC, the film Dementamania and Emmerdale. She was born and raised in The Lake District in Cumbria. She attended Queen Elizabeth School in Kirkby Lonsdale as a teenager and later went on to study acting at Aberystwyth University where she began performing her first professional roles, obtaining her equity card before graduating with a Theatre Studies BA Hons Degree. In 2017 Amy completed the inaugural UK tour of the award winning 'Billy Elliot' (produced by Working Title) she performed the lead female role of Mrs Wilkinson Billy's dance teacher to excellent reviews. Amy appeared in Emmerdale (ITV) as Alexa McGrath, in Heartbeat (YTV) as Paula Smith and as Lucy McGill in the film Dementamania. She recently appeared in Coronation Street as the Bridal Shop Owner in the characterful story-line leading up to Gemma's wedding day and as Dr Al Haskey's nemesis: 'Ginny Kingston' on Doctors for BBC1. She is of English/Welsh - Italian ancestry.
