Stephen Colbert responded to President Donald Trump’s second tweet trashing late night TV hosts, this time saying the three “very weak and untalented” hosts are “fighting over table scraps” and wondering what they will do for material when he’s out of office, “in 2024, forecasting a “wacky” unemployment line. [Watch it at the 4:45 mark in the video above]
“First of all, sir, three?” Colbert shot back, informing Trump it’s 2019 and late night no longer is confined to the three big broadcast networks at 11:30 Pm.
“James Corden, Seth Meyers, Sam Bee, Trevor Noah, Conan, Desus & Mero are just as weak and untalented as me and the Double Jim-Jims,” Colbert said, adding that John Oliver may be weakest.

Updated with video: Jimmy Kimmel pounced on President Donald Trump’s second attack on late-night TV hosts.
While acknowledging that he and his colleagues talk a lot about Trump, “It’s unusual that he talks about us,” Kimmel admitted.
He guessed that Trump’s second shot was part of a campaign to distract his base from his defeat in the Senate today. As expected, a dozen Republicans on Thursday joined Democrats to block the national emergency Trump declared to circumvent Congress and finance his southern border wall.

Based on eagle-eyed Amazing Race sleuths, the upcoming season will include the return of Brenchel, cowboys Jet and Cord as well as those awful twinnees. At least we also get to see Margie and Luke, who still own a soft spot in my heart. There’s also a team returning from this season, so watch out for spoilers.
The cast for Gracepoint — Fox’s remake of Broadchurch — just got more amazing with the addition of Breaking Bad‘s Anna Gunn (in Olivia Colman‘s role) and Jacki Weaver as the mysterious lady in who lives in an Rv (though the character is changing, probably to throw off people who’ve already seen Broadchurch).
Anna Gunn and David Tennant? I can’t wait for the Doctor Who/Breaking Bad crossover fanfic this will inspire.
Brace yourselves, there’s another conservative Daily Show in the works, except this one would be syndicated.
