It was another vampire wedding. (But this time without the Twilight stars.) Mercedes McNab, who played high school student-turned-bloodsucker Harmony Kendall on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997 to 2003), wed real estate developer Mark Henderson in La Paz, Mexico, on Saturday. "It's official!" the actress, who also starred on Buffy spin-off Angel until 2004, Tweeted, alongside a snapshot of the couple sharing a newlywed smooch. With about 80 people in attendance, including actress-singer Taryn Manning, McNab walked down the aisle at the CostaBaja resort wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown. The resort, which overlooks the Sea of Cortez, was decked out with fuchsia orchids for McNab's big day.

Mark Henderson previously opted to leave the house of his own accord. Fellow nominees Aaron Allard-Morgan, Faye Palmer and Jay Mckray were declared safe by host Brian Dowling earlier this evening. Mark Henderson and Harry Blake have managed to convince their fellow housemates that they have been set a special 'pet' task by Big Brother. The pair conspired by using old task instructions to read out their own fake task details to the group in the garden. Mark read out the 'instructions', saying: "Big Brother knows a few of you are missing your pets at home. "Today is a once in a lifetime opportunity to pick two housemates to be your household pets. The two housemates picked will be picked by one of you two tapping them on their shoulders now." Harry then proceeded to choose Jay Mckray and Aaron Allard Morgan for the task, in which they would have to walk on all fours for the rest of the day. In this unusual documentary, British film-maker Mark Henderson returns to Colombia with three of his eight fellow victims of a much publicised terrorist kidnapping five years earlier in the Sierra Nevada. The purpose is to meet two of their captors, with whom he and Reini, a German woman abductee, have been corresponding by email since their release. The diaries kept by the prisoners during their 101 days of captivity are revealing, their reactions to revisiting the scene of their ordeal most affecting. The actual encounters with the former terrorists who called themselves Antonio and Camilla prove rather anti‑climactic.

Back in 2003, eight tourists were backpacking through the ruins of Cuidad Perdida in Northern Colombia when they were kidnapped by militants who held them for four months. One of those kidnapped, a British man named Mark Henderson, was released after being held captive for 102 days when senior clergy from the Roman Catholic Church helped negotiate his release. The militants weren't holding the backpackers for ransom, but instead wanted to "publicise the persecution of Indian villagers and massacres carried out by rightwing paramilitaries," according to a 2003 BBC report.
At the time this was the biggest kidnapping to happen in Colombia in two decades, and once he was released Henderson spoke of an extremely "painful" experience that included 18-hour days trekking through the dense jungle. Though he thought his ordeal was finally over, one year later Henderson began receiving Facebook requests from two of his kidnappers.
